So I've watched this, A LOT. And I've come up with a few theories, I feel fairly confident that one or more of these explains the meaning of this video. Counterpoints are welcome, and Anthony, If you were to chime in, it would make my life, I think by this point you've inspired enough wonder, enough provocative thought, that I consider you an inspiring force, and something of a hero to me. Anyway, onto the wall of text. It seems that this has to be about quantum mechanics, particles changing state and creating a chain reaction as a result of them being observed; or more likely, I think that it's a narrative about a far future observer, Inspired by our anatomical creation, sets out to create something similar; or alternatively further, God, and his having given sentience to being that he created. The circumstances surrounding the creation of the seeming antagonist of the plot of this animation could be interpreted as a visualization of an incredibly intricate area of mathematics, quantum dynamics. The clip of the box of vaguely human parts makes me think that it may be a far future observer, a member of a hyper-intelligent race, able to assimilate matter into consciousness. But the scale of creator to subject makes me think it could be representing the endowment of consciousness, end inevitable domination (at least in that reality) of "God", or whatever created humanity as we know it, in that reality anyway. In any case, I feel that the blindfolded, non-genderized face is the key to the meaning of this video; in my opinion, (hence forth being referred to as she,) that is to say, the head, Is representative of one or two or three things, hopefully just one of them though, that would be super confusing if not. Theories will be listed 1-3, 1 being my least likely of being close to the artist's intent. Quantum mechanics is a fascinating area of study; that a physical particle could change its physical state by humans having observed it with a microscope, it defies our traditional logic. The fact that this face girl exists before it is observed, then seems to completely alter it's state by multiplying from a seemingly psychological entity, into a monolithic structure which seems to destroy it's indirect creator, as soon as she seems to feel like she is observed, is the majority of what I have to support this theory. Onto the idea that the creator is meant to represent 'God', and that the face is an unexpected side effect, as it pertains to 'God', when he imbued humanity with sentience, a thing which could not be controlled; Imagination. Discovery. Progress.It seems fairly obvious that the subject of creation notices his creator fairly early on, and also that the face is created as the being is created, further supporting the idea that this really is a statement, combined with a prediction, about, and for, humanity. (Sub-theory) Or It could be a suggestion, as some have said explaining our existence, that humanity was engineered and designed by a hyper-intelligent, far advanced alien race, linking a portion of this idea to my second, and this could be sort of explaining the story of Adam and Eve in a far different way. There is a fair bit evidence to suggest ancient civilizations with really incredibly modern technology. Google "Out of Place Artifacts if you're interested. The keys to this far future observer/scientist theory are almost exclusively found in the first fifty seconds of the animation. Briefly, we are shown a house on exceptionally tall stilts in a desolate, isolated place, colored in brown and black. The creator flips a switch, initiating mechanical processes, we are then shown a pointy, morphing shape, not unlike the ones that seems to represent life, not only in this particular animation of his. The creator is then seen watching black and white videos of the thing which he eventually creates, an anthropomorphic figure walking what appears to be a canine, along with the box of recycled parts, this makes a pretty strong case in my mind already. The face could represent the enduring, determined existence of humanity, despite her never-ending thirst to expand, and the complexity of human kind, defying the circumstances of her reality, she is singularly motivated to to see what she can see, including her creator. Speaking of which, in terms of the creator, It must be said that our bodies are incredible, truly the closest thing to perfect contraptions(though far from it). By far the most complex, sophisticated machine we have ever witnessed, even today, 4/10/2016, 4 years after this video was released on this channel, our man-made neural networks and artificial intelligence are children's toys compared to the estimated 86 Billion neurons that compose an average human mind. And Even if I'm off base, you've displayed this in a way that I truly have never seen, or been able to appreciate until you created it, Anthony F Schepperd. you are Truly a genius. ANYWAY, so yeah, sorry to write a novel, but this video means a lot to me, and I felt like I needed to express it.

I just thought it was about that guy trying to play god by creating another human looking being and having it walk a dog. Justice is usually depicted as a woman blindfolded. In many religions god is usually the highest form of justice, in this animation it shows the face of justice after it emerges from the microscope like a deity.
@pilotofacanofbeans

+OblivianArchAngel Your comment is proof that the internet is an awesome place. Moreover, I'd like to think of it as two cases -- each with a similar scenario but with different creators. The creator could be God (it, him, her)self losing their control over humanity. We'd like to think of God as omnipotent and infallible, but many theories and fallacies can suggest otherwise (getting off topic) The other case could be a mortal, intelligent but tangible creator with a likeness to us humans. Both scenarios suggest that a creation consumes it's creator, and both are equally valid. If we create a self-correcting artificial intelligence that can eliminate error and increase task execution continuously, we will be looking at an evolving hyper-intelligence that will dwarf our own. In the paraphrased words of Stephen Hawking, "AI will be more intelligent compared to us than our own intelligence dwarfs that of a slug." With the God scenario, an extremity in it's own right will occur; if God doesn't come to us, we'll take to the stars come to God. And when we meet God, we may not be the same creation. Or even worse, we my try to appropriate God -- there's lots of literature about humans seeking to harness God or godlike powers. Im slightly familiar with Anthony's work, but I'm a huge Machinedrum fan. His songs are always intense and melodic.

+Davis Malcolm actually I have you know that the quantum feild has actually lost it's fallacy on the scenario that we have lost control over our god. Artificial intelligence will poop on our chests when the day comes. Ducks and cats never met except for the fridge down next door. When did that fridge reach a quantum state? I HAVE YOU KNOW I am an engineer at being smart and know that this is physically not possible, but god created our theories and our cats so what does our scenarios really mean? Poopy bacon bits?
