In our Garo Hils we learn Garo Language in schools, while they (BD Garos) have no opportunity to learn Garo Language in schools. School level is the main time to learn language. Their schools are Bangla medium. Their classmates are Bengali. They speak Bangla in school. So, they have no opportunity to develop Garo Language. In fact, many of relatives who are highly educated, and their children can't speak Garo at all. This I witnessed when I visited Bangladesh. You have to understand this. You are opportune; but they aren't.
