The shape you achieved in the June 2020 picture (at 0:56 in the video) is so nice. The separation between the foliage on the two trunks is very nice and complements the two trunk form. I love it.
Good morning Gilbert! I’m new to dwarf Jade bonsai, or everything dwarf Jade, for that matter! On looking for ways I can gain knowledge about this fine art, I found your channel, and am in love with the the living sculptures you create! Actually, until I found your channel I hadn’t heard of dwarf Jade! I’m trying to source some cuttings to start, and wondered if you know of any reputable sellers you might refer me to? I’m really wanting to learn all I can, and am willing to wait patiently for the results that will come with time, as I journey through my older years! Again I will say what wondrous work you do! I am especially drawn to your forest work, it is incredible! Thanks for your time, and looking forward to more of your fine videos Gilbert!
I should keep jade plant outside in winters ?? Also let me know about jade cutting where to place it in winter and also about watering it, i m from Delhi, india, temperature here is 9-17degree C so pls let me know about it.
Another lovely video. I am in such a quandary as to what to do with the 2 Portulacaria Arfa I have, they are garden centre stock , bought as gifts for me . Is there any way I can show you a photo to ask your expert advice ? I don’t know if they are reachable, or if I should take off all the branches and propagate them as cuttings and start from scratch. I can’t see no I could ever get them to look as natural as your wonderful trees. Thanks , and have a great Christmas !
Hey! I love your videos and was just wondering if you wouldn’t mind doing one on your indoor Bonsai set up that you mentioned? I’m very interested in creating a jade Bonsai for my desk at work and would like to know what products/practices will lead to me having the most success.
Good question! Because when you let it dry out, the branches are more flexible to bend making it easier to wire and less of a chance of snapping a branch.
