Such a helpful video. Was exactly what I was looking for. Practical and well explained. Would also love to see where it’s at now. Thanks for your work.
A nice alternative to the fork method is a simple stream of water I like to set my hose gun to shower setting and it rinses the roots really well while minimizing the amount of damage I used to encounter with the bonsai fork
you probably dont give a shit but if you are bored like me atm you can watch pretty much all the new movies on Instaflixxer. Been watching with my gf these days =)
It's still alive? 😮 You gotta wait till autumn with lots of ferts to ensure it has enough energy to grow the roots back. Rosemary hates having it's roots messed with that aggressively, 1/3 would be the most you should trim and only after it's well established.
Any plant fertilizer will do. If you are keeping it indoors you will want to find one that doesn't smell. Also is good to use a water soluble fertilizer so you can add a little bit to some water. Here is an example of something that you could use:www.bonsaioutlet.com/uncle-bills-bonsai-brew/
Rosemary is also great for cuttings. Just put a cut into pure water and roots will start to form within a week. I post my bonsai on my Instagram account called master_of_the_pencil and have also very recently put 3 cuttings into a bonsai pot with a stone with moss.
