Actually, Todoroki's scar is a freeze burn. This is because when his mother realizes she scalded him, she tries to treat the burn with her ice quirk, but ice can worsen the effects of the scald that's why he has the scar.

I always figured it's moreso ugly in the sense that it's hard to look at and unbearable, as she called it. She couldn't stand seeing that side, considering Todoroki had the flames, blue eye, and same-ish hair Endeavor did. I'm assuming it basically reminded her of him and from everything she'd been through as it was unbearable, atrocious, perhaps even ugly to her

The correct spelling in English is Yuuei, which means hero. The school is literally named Hero Academy. Yuu is pronounce U and ei is pronounce A, so the shortening of it is UA.

With todoroki I think shoots mother burned him because his fire side reminded her of endeavor and she realizes what she did afterwards using her quirk on the burn leaving the scar. Also he was trained and pushed really hard by his father at a young age

Di4m Gaming As far as I know (I’ve read most of the manga), he WAS abusive. Endeavor was a horrible person, sure he’s getting a redemption arc but that doesn’t erase his past. Sorry if I was reading too much into it 😂
