So, I did a thing. Decided to become an official RFE fanboi and fanboi out full on fanboi style.
All jokes aside, they make awesome gear and I wanted to give a sector a try. Was in the process of setting up a new Ubiquiti sector and decided to go for it.

Fun fact: You have to aim these! My typical sector install mantra of, "plug it in and point it in the general direction" does NOT work well. lol

grin, these are 30deg sectors and you have to point them somewhere down to the ground in the wide yonder :D or are you planning to sub in the International Space Station or ET and his buddies? :D

Hey. I believe you should have turned the back bracket the other way around, that's what i understand from RFE installation video

Yea man, the view from that house is amazing. That's why there's a porch on the roof, complete with fireplace! lol

So from P2P, PTMP you have to use the same manufacturer (ie Backhaul, sector to CPE), but once you go through a switch you can change to another manufacturers product?

what is the benefit of using the RFE's and what does it look like on the inside?

Late response ftw...lol Inside? Dunno. Benefit, though?...they reject noise VERY well. They also install WAY easier than the Ubiquiti sectors I was using. You can put 3 or 4 of these RFEs on a pole in the same space that ONE of the Ubiquiti sectors take up.

What is with these greatly focused shots... Did you by chance get a new camera/lens.... Or just learn how to use your camera 😆

lol...just used my other camera. Usually I use a DJI Osmo Pocket which puts out video that looks like a cellphone, more or less. It's stabilized and super tiny, though so it's super easy to use. This was my Sony A7III wearing Zeiss glass. Now, the next time you hear someone say, "my cellphone takes pics and vids just as good as a camera!" or similar, you know why that's stupid. ;-)
