I came across this song in one if those 5-hour commercials they have here on youtube, so I had to find this song. Not a big fan of the blues, but this song speaks to the condition that many find themselves in, so I can feel where Boo Boo is coming from in this song. Still, love it mayne:)
Love this genuine, raw sound. This is what I hear when I think of old blues. Was honestly surprised that this was made in 2008. I'd have dated it back. Awesome song, wonderful singing.
This reminds me of my Navy days roaming around the Mississippi countryside and jumping from one juke joint to another more than 30 years ago. Gosh, I miss those days!
My son has dedicated this song to his baby daughter who is always crying when he's trying to sleep. He works thiird shift and goes to college full time. This song is hilarious. We saw the commercial and it was just like it was everyday for him. Where he works there are turkeys running around too the building where he works. This song is hillarious!!!
I was at Guard Drill this weekend and saw everyone nodding off during the morning meeting, and I thought, "This needs a little backdrop music of THIS SONG!"
Boo Boo Davis the talent brought me here! Glad you others discovered him! Check him and his other stuff out at his website ...like "Dirty Dog". Born in the heart of the Mississippi Delta... he's funky and honest.
I've been a slave my entire life. This song makes me cry because it reminds me of the misery I faced everyday because I was the only one who would work my fingers to the bone without excuse and without fail. I had to provide.....
yeah its crazy and sad the only music that has been catching my attention lately have been snippets of songs in advertisements. you now have to google a product or some type of promo sound-byte to find out the titles and artist. when i saw the commercial i imediatley said "what is that" i hope the song does really well..
I hate TV, and while it was on when my roomie was watching adult swim i heard this, i had to look into this. This is fucking amazing, and i don't know why this man isn't more prominent, If he toured, i'd go see him, he should play in Austin, TX. I'd pay for this...
