Boogie Woogie live: Dana Gillespie & Joachim Palden - Come On 

The boogie man is terrific! and so is Sabine! Great to see a female play every bit as good as a top class male drummer!

I think Sabine's classical percussion training is hovering around her - that's why her boogie-woogie performances are so complex-but-delicate, so perfect for the mood. And her smile, WOW: she could just turn mid-block and cross a busy 4-lane arterial (as the traffic would come to a screeching halt, to let her pass). She is breathtaking, way adorable, way talented!!! The whole "Come on" performance of this group, which I placed in my jewels collection, should have millions of hits. Millions.

Sabine is de beste!!! "geweldig" hoe zij speelt en die snelheid "Super Talent" en dan onze boogie player Joachim wat een tempo man, dit is niet normaal zo goed is het, geniet echt van dit optreden!! Dana je hebt de beste muziekanten uitgekozen, kan ook niet anders bij een geweldige zangeres.

Joachim...what a demon! Playing at that speed and intensity he must have muscles in his hands that I never knew existed. Breath taking. Sabine is a truly fabulous percussionist, and were privileged to have Dana on vocals, what a stupendous piece they delivered between them. First Class entertainment.

Joachim and Dana are great, but holy cow, Sabine is freaking awesome! Great rhythm that complements, rather than overwhelms the song.

Thanks for much for sharing this! I hadn't heard any of the three players before - so it was a treat so hear such tasteful drumming, a mature vocalist, and as a keyboardist myself that piano really hit the spot ... great 'feel' ... I'll definitely check out more of M. Palden and company :)
