I don't think Kelly would have dreamed as a contestant on American idol that she would not only be a famous musical artist but would be hosting a popular talk show with women like this as guests. She is outstanding.

No matter age or issues. Things can change. My husband lost both feet in 2020. He's now working part time but we just brain stormed yesterday after looking at hotels for an event next year. Hotel handicap rooms need one lift recliner. We're going to start local and see what we can do 🥰

Jane Fonda is next in line for her Kennedy center honors this year. She set a blueprint for second generation of actors like Angelica Houston, Jamie Lee Curtis, Michael Douglas, etc to be as equally successful as their famously well known parents. Not to mention that she has maintained excellence for 6 decades and still has staring power.
Watching this was so enjoyable. I recently moved out into the country to a quaint village. I've invited a friend to come out for the day and suggested a movie, The Book Club. We have a small movie theater built in 1927, obviously updated. Across the street is an an Italian restaurant on the river. My friend is 78 and I know she's going to love this. When I asked her, she said "Oh my, a day to just have fun." She said it like she was in a daze, imaging a day of seeing a moving and having lunch. Looking so forward to seeing this movie.
I love books and dancing. My favorite book is by Pearl S Buck called “This Proud Heart” a story of a woman who questions her decision to get married. GREAT read for someone who was at that exact time was feeling the same way. Dianne Keaton dancing in her yard warms my heart. No t only do I dance in the house, in the yard, in the car, I always danced with my daughter while listening to Muzak in the grocery stores empty grocery isles. Once an intruder rounded the corner we’d freeze. I’m missing those moments … it’s been 17 years since I’ve proven a show for the security cameras in Country Mart. 😂
Book club next chapter was a fun movie they did in italy was a wonderful feel good movie and they all clicked so well together and enjoyed many of there movies and Murphy brown sitcom. These ladies are amazing.
I had Candace sign an autograph for me back in 1974 - and then she had the most flawless skin I had ever seen - absolutely no pores! I can see why Jane was awestruck by her - I was!

I so wanted to hear what Jane Fonda had to say about the stage of her life she was glad was over, but Kelly started interviewing herself and answering her own question and totally skipped over Jane. Huge mistake. I'm exasperated and tuning out. If you enjoy Kelly, good for you, but I'm not a fan.
I wanted to tune in because I grew up watching the movies these women did. But Kelly is too "electric" and hyper for me. Give me a Diane Sawyer interview any day, where I can grasp what is being said. Let these stars shine, let them talk and let them explain. I don't know how Kelly has gotten this far. Even on "The Voice" she drives me crazy with her non-stop blather.
They did horrible things- Producers or director movie. At movie being at church woman put Holy JESUS with F words. ITS HORRIBLE, UNACCEPTABLE, and AGAINST GOD!
On the few press junket interviews these four actors have done I find Diane Keaton rude. Candace Bergen is so down to earth and is allowing herself to age gracefully. I wish Jane Fonda did not have so much work done, she looks plastic though she is a remarkable person.
