www.kennedy-cen... The smash musical and nine-time Tony Award winner returns! The Broadway phenomenon from the creators of South Park has been hailed as "the best musical of this century" by the New York Times.
THANK YOU! Exactly what I was thinking. Wish I hadn't wasted time on a long commercial, just waiting for some info regarding what the musical is about.
@@kevinsteel7875 A commercial tells you that. A trailer tells you more. That's why I thanked the commenter for letting people know this is just a commercial, not a trailer.
This trailer is like… so ineffective at actually getting me interested in seeing this. I still don’t know the first thing about it other than “other people think it’s good”
For me it was in London during a trip. My best friend shouted, if I was nuts for spending total of 300 quid for front seats (actually the 4th row, if I'd be more honest) without a warning, but eventually it turned out he liked it so much we didn't even care anymore about the price tag. I wanted to see this ever since i was 11 (19 at the moment), and I can tell you that it was worth the wait. Especially for not too many musicals are shown in my country.
If you live somewhere near where this is shown (Broadway, London, or anywhere in general), or alternatively visit the area during a trip, go and fucking see this musical! I saw it a while back and it was hilarious.
@@sulaymanzaraei8473 Sulayman. Mean but true. Islam really cannot take a joke. Good god, it cannot even take having a picture painted of their main man.
Because nothing can be Sacred right? Nothing can remain Pristine and Sacrosanct? It doesn’t matter however. A million mockeries and defilements cannot alter what is by one inch. Here is a hint: The Noble Qur’an and Islam do not require electricity to operate. The evil of this world will eat itself and all it has raised up but Islam shall remain.
SunnyD Addict it doesn't matter that your a Mormon though! People need to learn to learn to laugh at themselves! You go see that musical and have a great time!
My mom took me and my grandma to this when I was 13. I had just been given a new medicine at this time that made you really tired. I accidentally took two and was so fucking tired throughout the whole thing but it was so damn funny even sleeping pills ingested bag 13 year old couldn’t deter me from forming vivid memories I still hold at age 21 today
I went to the play in England and it was by far one of the funniest plays and best ones I’ve ever went to. It’s terrible I tell you 😂😂😂😂 so don’t bring ur kids 😅
Ben Bradlee of the new york times says the book of mormon musical is the best of all time . What a backhanded compliment that is Bradley. So many fantastic musical before which the performers can Sing! Sure you not letting your predudice against the Church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints outweigh your musical knowledge and judgement. Just noticed on researching you on google your now deceased so i make my comments in the past tense.
Long ago people mocked the Krishna's. Now it's the Mormons turn. I guess if you take world belief in God and turn it up side down.....well you get the idea. Cultism, you can join too :)
I was able to see this last night at the Hippodrome in Baltimore.... singing, sets, staging were all excellent, but this is easily the worst play I have ever seen.
As an actual Mormon, I find this musical very offensive. Everybody thinks it’s okay to bully Mormons, but we’re Christians too and the only real differences are the Book or Mormon and the belief that God, Jesus, and the Holy Ghost are different beings. If this musical was about Islam or Judaism, then it would be canceled immediately, however we’re constantly made fun of and nobody seems to care. God said to love thy neighbor, and you are not doing that.
Why do these guys even do this? It's extremely offensive to the great lord, Jesus ChristThey have no respect. All they ever do is mock religion, racial background, and gender. Does anyone else agree?!
@@signalred540 oh but it is! Thats what Satan does... mock's everything that's good and pure and then tears it down. The Lord's people are definitely peculiar... and I am proud to be among the true church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints! I love this crap! LOL bring it on baby! By the way... they portrayed some falsity beliefs, but good entertainment!
This movie is a disgrace to our life, beliefs and way of life. They don't make a movie about Muslims or even The Christian Church but just because its about Mormons they discredit our faith. I hope our God uses this to attract the faithless who have no morals and no hope into their meaningless lives and then our Church will continue to be the fastest growing religion in the world. God moves in mysterious ways and great things come from strange places as we absolutely know.
