Hello friends! :) Today I thought we could take a peek at my binder of scripts that I've accumulated over the years. I was quite surprised to find some that I didn't remember I've written and some of my favorite ones that I've made into videos. Honestly tearing up watching this. I found Gentle Whispering ASMR at a difficult time for my daughter in 2016…she was so sick, hospitalized constantly, doctors were saying she was beyond help…I had never even heard of ASMR and stumbled upon this channel by accident. I was calmed to sleep every night, even with my tears. My daughter is now healthy, happy and we have a wonderful life! Coming up on 3 years without a hospitalization, thank God 😭❤️ I don’t want to be over dramatic and say RU-vid ASMR channels got me through it but….. ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you Maria 🙏 I know you found ASMR during a difficult time and I’m so grateful you have given back ❤️

I loove crinkly paper sounds. When I was a kid, I remember I would roll my school papers into balls and unroll them, just so they would be all crinkly. I even loved the sound of them piled up in a folder. Of course, others would always wonder why my papers were always ruined, lol.

i feel so nostalgic now maria while you were talking about the videos and remembering your preparations behind each one i was remembring my life at that time and how my day was going when i watched that video and how it made me feel . god time flies ! i was 16 when i started watching you and now i'm 23 to think of how much has changed since then and who you are now with little mila and darryl .. im so proud of us and i can't thank you enough for always being there for me and for all of your followers , you truely are a blessing in our lives❤️

This made me think of how long *I've* been watching ASMR, and Jesus, it doesn't feel like seven years have passed for me. I stumbled across ASMR while looking for steampunk roleplay videos - I was trying to copy costumes - and accidentally found an ASMR channel. He's long gone inactive, but from his videos I bumped into Dmitri and Maria, and I've been watching daily since.

This was so fascinating Masha! I cant believe you write everything by hand! That "shhhhh" sound when your hands smooth over the pages is a big trigger for me. Oddly though I can't find many asmr artists that do that with page turning videos, I don't know if they think the sound may be unpleasant but I hope you do more of these. Thank you.

It's a really common thing among slavic people. We are literally not able to write properly in block letters, only in cursive writing, which seems more beautiful. 😂

It's about a general teaching approach in the ex Soviet union countries. And of course I didn't mean ALL SLAVIC PEOPLE, I think it was pretty obvious. Common, dude, take a long breath and relax. Watch some Maria's video, it will definitely help you. 😉

I used to have a classmate in high school, who had this really interesting and decorative writing style and I used to love to watch her write but also, she pushed the pen on the paper a lot harder than most people do, so the pages became suuuuuuuuuper crinkly after she wrote on them so I used to love to flip the pages in her notebooks. I am sure noone understood why. I kept telling everyone that my classmate makes better notes than me, so I am studying from her notebook. :D

I watch your videos every night before I go to bed, Maria. You are incredible human being.It’s funny, my name is Maria too, and I am Russian but I live in the UK. Watching you before bedtime for me it’s like being around my mother, similar energy. Thank you for making my life better and helping with anxiety, you do amazing things.

First- I am obsessed with your Russian handwriting, even don't understanding anything. It is beautiful to look at Second - I wonder why you rewrite the script for the Russian version, considering they are the same. Does this helps you to not get confuse through the recording process?

You do really well planned lessons towards relaxation! Thankful how sleepy 😌 💕 I get.. I had so much anxiety and I'd work all day long I'm trying to comfort others but I just didn't do anything for me. I lost my mother a year ago and she would always say kind things every time you saw her so I really appreciate the gentle kindness in your voice where it feels like you're with a sister or a mom or a friend I just feel safe like I'm at the relatives house.

Paper sounds are my favourite 🥰📃 I'm happy you are being kinder to yourself and less fixated on perfection. It is so sweet how much you consider your audience, I think it comes across in each and every video. The Russian history video could be a vlog channel video maybe? It would be sad, but often history is told objectively, and I think it is more truthful to tell the stories with real, human emotion and compassion for those who suffered, the humanity of history is the true story.

thanks for sharing who you are with us. i am a perfectionist as well, and seeing you manage it and also seeing that you struggle sometimes, really helps me to feel more okay with myself and less anxious about what i perceive as shortcomings within myself.

You should do a video where you follow the process of tea dying paper! You could use a cool tea for it, and you could use different t kinds of paper! I feel like they would sound great after they would be dried!
