Book Review - Biblical Theology by Andreas Köstenberger & Gregory Goswell 

I know I said this on your interview ep with him as well, but it's so weird to hear someone say, "no one does biblical theology, everyone loves systematic theology." In some very specific reformed circles, maybe, but you get outside of that and it's way more often the opposite. It has one of the famous "9 Marks" and he had to add an additional footnote book on "sound doctrine" like, "Yeah, I guess that's important, too." Plus in liberal circles, they don't even believe systematic theology is possible, since the whole book is a mishmash of different theologies or whatever. I think the rivalry is entirely arbitrary, and both sides should start by not looking at themselves as the put-upon younger brother. "Mommy and Daddy love you more!" "No, they love you more!" They really don't love either of us, but they need both of us (okay, that metaphor fell apart pretty quickly), so let's band together and make them see the overlap more. I'm waiting for that book to be written. Hey Kostenberger, I'm available to write it with you, if you want! Patrick, could you put in a good word for me?
