I was refering to the book Leslie wrote in the series season 4 that she tried to get "Legendary" newswomans Joan Kalamezos book of the Month club approval on. Leslie inadvertanly finds out ,through fact checking, that she was born in Eagleton instead of Pawnee. I love this show. I am kinda nerdy about it as you can tell

I completely agree with that last statement about the natural world being more fulfilling than technology because the most memorable moments of my life have been outdoors with friends and accomplishing something that doesn't always involve technology.

I agree. I tend to have the best moments outside as well.

I confess, I haven't watched his show... Parks and Recreation... but with this recommendation, I'll take a look via Hulu. I agree that screens are awesome and even addictive because of immediate fulfillment, but that being out in nature is a necessary part of life... and I intend to do a lot of that this spring and summer. I'm not ever going to be entirely anti-screen, however. I'm really hooked into it and there's a lot to be learned online. Plus, I work online, so that's the bottom line... without a screen I'd be unable to support myself.

It's quite a great show. If you are familiar with the American version of The Office, it's filmed in much of the same style. I really appreciate the advent of screens as well, but getting away form them is equally as important as they are.

Technically, Nick Offerman wrote the book. He writes a lot about how he and Ron are quite different. I do quite want to read Leslie Knope's book, however.
