I just finished To Sleep the other week. Great book man. Whole thing was completely not what I expected but it was interesting and captivating all the same. Especially the way the last parts played out O_o. I also really enjoyed those subtle references to other things too lol
So glad to see you back! You are truly one of the greats. And yeah a new film series by Disney for the Inheritance Cycle I think would be absolutely incredible. If done right I think they could be legendary films.
Honestly, you were one of my biggest inspirations growing up, and still are today. Came across your channel when i was researching self-publishing as an author as i have been creating content of my own, and i was actually surprised to find you had a youtube channel and it was actually a bit relieving! I could never finish Inheritance because I couldn't finish the book. I am so in love with Inheritance that I couldn't let it end. I'm your most fav fan. I'm a reader and YOU are my very fav author. On a serious note, i was just commenting yesterday that you are my favorite writer, in terms that i can read your books without getting bored, no matter the volume. About the question “would a cell phone have a true name”, I was under the impression that things had to be given true names through use of the name of names? Like how Eragon gave true names to the burrow grubs and shadow birds on Vroengard?

27:00 I don't think the person who wrote the comment is right. To be able to say something is the ancient language someone would have to read it somewhere or learn it in some other way. So it can't be an unknown truth since it would be written in a book and for that someone had to know it first.

At 27:45 you say that magicians added new true names to the ancient language but to be able to do that would have to know the name of it but Galbatorix was the first person after the dead of the grey folk who learned and used the language so this makes no sense.
