Birmingham should win the division, but I have supported them long enough to know that they can never be relied on to do the expected. Notice that they have brought in some big units, who also have skill, that shows that they know what to expect from some teams at this level.
I first went to St Andrews in 1955 when I was three years old and for most of the last 70 years Blues have spent nearly every season dashing my hopes and dreams.... Fingers crossed this season, for once, will be different...Tired and Weary...
@@stevebrooks9119 not sure whether to congratulate you Steve or send you to a shrink? I first went at 10 years old and am now in my 60's and thought I might need some therapy but you sir...
Great analysis. I don't think you mentioned Paik in the Brum team - assuming he's still with us come Saturday he will arguably be one of the best players ever to have played at this level. Good luck to the Addicks.
optimistic bolton fan here. thanks for great video. bolton birmingham and huddersfield to go up. good luck for charlton. i think you will make playoffs.
Great video as always Tyler. Really enjoyed it and lots of detail. Looking forward to seeing your predictions! The start of the season on Saturday which I can't wait for. I think 7th for us is about right with the current squad in terms of odds. The transfer window is still open though so if we can get 2 or 3 quality signings in (Goalkeeper, Midfielder and Central Defender) plus the return of Miles and you never know we may sneak into 6th. I accept we need to offload a few first, but I remain hopeful we are on the edge of greatness if we can get a few more of the right people in. NJ is a good manager and the new owners seem to be sound, so fingers crossed. Really need to get out of League 1 as we are about to embark on our 5th season at this level. It is going to be much tougher than last year with the teams coming up from League 2 and coming down from the Championship. COYR!!!
Hi Tyler. A really good blog to keep me up to spec with league 1, I really believe the Addicks will have a good season I like Nathan Jones . My prediction 5th or 6th. My team to Finish 15th in the premier league.keep the blogs coming, regards Everton Steve 👍🧢
Talk of Joe Taylor (Luton) coming in at Huddersfield Town for season loan. If so the Terriers will definitely compete for a Top 2 finish. Brilliant analysis mate, you’ve obviously done your research. Agree regards Wrexham, don’t see them finishing Top half!. I used to live near the Valley many years ago. Been many times, Great club CAFC. Keep up the good work! Good luck for the season 👍UTT💙🤍💙
As always very entertaining and knowledgeable. The usual ifs, ands and maybes for so many clubs including our very own. The one most important question I have though is.......How did your degree go? Well I trust.
We let 13 players go so have a small squad . We have used the lack of ffp to buy players capable of doing well in the championship. Whether we do get promoted isn't as straightforward as alot of our fans think . After years of abysmal football we are looking forward to this season and it will be a big disappointment if we don't go up . Great podcast though and i must say the only two London teams i actually like are Millwall and Charlton.
Sound analysis. I look forward to hearing more of it this coming season. As a Posh supporter, I hope that our new players will be an adequate replacement for Burrows, Edwards and Knight. I have friends who are Charlton supporters, so I hope they do well for you. I think Bolton and Rotherham will go up automatically, and that Posh, Brum, Huddersfield and Barnsley will make the play-offs. Hopefully, it will be third time lucky for the Posh or Barnsley to win the play-off final. I fear that Leyton Orient, Crawley, Cambridge and Shrewsbury will be relegated.
the only thing birmingham have been missing is a manager if this new guy can do a job we are laughing all the way. we have had a decent preseason beating rangers and WBA time to flex in L1 now come on blues KRO
Wrexham at #4 looks a bit exuberant, but if couple months in they look convincingly in contention, they're looking at getting some mind boggling loan transfers. PL sides trotting young talent through Wrexham would give these players great exposure to American fans.
Pessoal, depois dessa primeira rodada, oq vcs acharam ? Sou jogador de apostas, estou querendo uma ajuda. Vcs mudaram a opinião de vcs em relação aos favoritos, ou permanecem com o mesmo pensamento.
Brum think they will walk it with just 4 losses all season🤣🤣🤣That team will take time to gel, league one will hit em like a steam train...I actually think Brum will finish in the playoffs...I'm going for Bolton to win L1 this season...just signed Shön from Hungary, great addition, and evatt says 3/4 more coming in before window closes....Bolton for me to win the league comfortably tbh.
It's everyone else stating Brum are gonna walk it. Most Blues fans are more pragmatic. We have optimism based on us having a very good top half Championship squad last season that was ruined by Rooney. Our squad is now stronger. I fully understand the wishful thinking by other fans that we fail. I would probably be the same. However, over a 46 game season I will be very very surprised - given the quality and depth of the squad - if we fail to get promoted. We've had 12 miserable years and hopefully things will change.
@@MikeyBrumnope, we’re gonna piss the league. Every team is gonna be up for the match against us, but it’s gonna be in vain as we finish undefeated for the season. Records will be broken, men will cry.
No true Birmingham fan ever believes the Blues will walk anything. In fact quite the opposite....History and experience has taught us that only in some alternative universe will the Blues finish the season on a high and the fans dance into the close season with their bubble unburst...KRO...
@@Scoobay Ur on scooby snacks pal, laced with some LSD if you think that. I actually think that group of players will take at least 8/10 games to gel together. Playoffs for me.
