Damn. The heel turn we never got again. Imagine if they pushed through with the heel turn of Cena during his feud with The Rock. They should turn Cena heel as we all know that the big names turned heel at one point to make their characters fresh and less stale. But booking wise, it should make sense. We know how the E books things then change it up last minute.

This is why I enjoyed Austin's heel run. It was short, experimental at best and had a lot of special moments rather than a legitimate dominant run. It's difficult to book marquee stars differently if they're so good at what they do. That's why it took so long to make a face Randy Orton work. As per this booking, the only thing I would change is give the Authority a more prominent role, have them interfere at the WM match then have Sting return to make the save. I would've had Cena turn heel around 2016, but I don't know much about that time period to book something better than that.

Personally i’d book him in this way, he loses to The Rock at Mania 28, and then then he continues to lose more matches until money in the bank where Cena wins the MITB and next week he dishonourably cashes in the money in the bank on Raw in CM Punk’s match (it can be be against anyone personally i’d say Alberto Del Rio or someone else from the MITB match), when Punk is down he cashes in and gets the belt. Then i wouldn’t want like the old Thuganomics Cena no a different one with a different theme and no rap. A Darker side of Cena or something…This would be my own personal imaginary booking for his Heel run.

This sounds so good, if this did happen in real life it would have been great and it revisited many feuds that now had roles switched and Bryan winning is even bigger in this run than real life and Sting returning to take out Cena make a lot of sense, you did a great job booking a Cena heel run which is hard to do because thinking of something that would work isn't easy

Maybe the Wrestlemania card looks something like this Cena V Bryan for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Bray V Taker (Have Bray end the streak) HHH V Batista/Randy (since Batista has always wanted that match, plus takes place 5 years earlier with both still able to go, or have Randy V HHH since he got kicked out the authority) Brock V Randy/Batista (Depending on who HHH faces other can face Brock. Randy V Brock would be appropriate for WM especially since they wouldn’t have faced before and I’m sure everyone would love a Batista V Brock match)

I do agree if we were going to get a heel turn for Cena it would have been perfect around the Yes Movement but the moment we did get was great with Bryan defying the odds against Triple H, Batista and Orton all in the same night. I think it’s fine we didn’t get a prime cena heel, he got a chance to be a heel early in his career and wanted to then be a face and a hero and not turn his back to that which I say all respect to him for that

I think you did well with the booking until you got to the heel Cena part. I think having a more delusional Cena that thinks he’s done the right thing would work better. He lost his title and he believes he deserves it back. Over time, thanks to the backing of the Authority and the audience getting to him, he then can finally make himself a full heel in time for the Wrestlemania program. Good stuff though bud

We didn't get the heel turn, but it's never too late. At this point in his career it's absolutely possible, he needs to reinvent himself before retiring.

Somehow, I just realized that Cena's model in 2K15 would be perfect for his heel persona. There's something about that angry face that scream bad guy for me.

The primetime for Cena to turn heel would of been post Mania 28 after losing to The Rock. Here's my booking: After losing at Mania 28 and losing to Brock Lesnar at Extreme Rules and losing every match on RAW, Cena somehow wins a #1 contendership to face CM Punk at Over the Limit 2012 in an I Quit match. Of course Cena recognizes his losing streak and the usual polarizing fanfare he recieves, and the crowd obviously likes CM Punk more. Their first promo encounter involves CM Punk mentioning "I'm 2-0 against you on PPV so far" and "come on do your usual rise above hate crap you always say and let the fans boo you even more!", and surprisingly Cena says no words and just leaves the ring. In the weeks following Cena refuses interviews and you just get a shot of his locker room door closed. Then when it's time for the match I think having Cena actually say I Quit would shock everyone but immediately after the match when CM Punk turns his back to celebrate John Cena absolutely goes ballistic on him, completely obliterates him with steel chairs, kendo sticks, chokes him with a chain, and puts him through the announce table. As CM Punk is being carried out on a stretcher John Cena then addresses the bewildered crowd, "yeah I said I Quit....but it was on my terms, I didn't quit on myself, I quit on all of you, for so long I've tried to live up to your expectations....now everyone is living in my world now.....fear my name...." and then the show fades to black. At the following PPV Cena once again faces CM Punk and very decisively defeats CM Punk. The following months would be similar to Triple H's heel reign of terror. And by Mania 29 a babyface would be primed and ready to dethrone heel Cena. it's funny cuz that fear my name phrase was actually trademarked by WWE back in 2012 and he even had a new heel theme but Vince got cold feet about a Cena heel turn. An even more shocking heel turn would of been Cena cheating to beat the Undertaker's streak at Mania 29 or 30.

There are many things I don’t like about this being honest. Including the fact that the real life main event of wm is better. However I think you did capture cena as a heel pretty well. I do expect his heel turn to be more bigger, rather than just doing an fu and pinning him. Pretty sure he does that commonly as a face since he’s cena. I think him as a heel would work in this case, some heels have a problem with that as people have a problem choosing which side their on, wether they cheer for them cause they like their work, or boo them cause that’s what their supporters to do, or just boo them cause the wrestler sucks and fans hate them. I think with this heel turn it would work well and it definitely would capture what a heel should be. Mainly cause he’s cena though, and it works because of who he is, but that is apart of his character.

For my John Cena Heel Turn storyline here's my Fantasy Booking We Begin at WrestleMania 28 The Rock defeats John Cena then the night after Brock Lesnar makes his return to WWE and Attacks Cena then they have there match at Extreme Rules but Lesnar wins and Cena is taken out by and ambulance for weeks then they announced the Men's money in the bank match with same competitors in 2012 and Cena goes on and wins the MITB briefcase then we go to the 1000 episode of RAW the Main Event Is John Cena Vs CM Punk big show come out and cost Cena the title then Cena is stunned and furious while big show attack CM Punk the Rock Comes out and Goes to attack big show then when rock goes for the people's elbow John Cena runs back into the ring and attacks the rock and then Rock get carried out the arena so Cena goes through the entire WWE fueding with Randy Orton, Chris Jericho, Christian, Sheamus, Daniel Bryan, CM Punk, and The Rock, then, At The Royal Rumble We get John Cena Vs The Rock 2 winner gets a shot at the WWE Champion and Cena wins in dominant fashion and goes on to the Main Event of WrestleMania 29 Dethroning CM Punk for The WWE Championship and goes on to hold the WWE Title fueding with RVD, Christian, Undertaker, Orton, CM Punk, and Cody Rhodes until WrestleMania 30 losing the Title To Daniel Bryan in a 30 min classic

I was one of the people that would've turned him heel in 2010. You know how undertaker attacked cena for tagging himself in? Well that could've let to a match at wrestlemania 26 and that's when cena turns heel. he panics but then he has a smile on his face and he low blows the undertaker. He also uses chair shots and then the miz comes in after two refferees are knocked down and then he beats undertaker.

I feel like the only way for Cena to be a full blown heel with the crowd actually hating him, would have been to make him end the Undertaker's undefeated streak in a heelish way. That sounds lame but it would have been one of the boldest moves by WWE. Definitely better than having Brock Lesnar or Roman Reigns defeat the Undertaker at WrestleMania...

I think the perfect way to turn John heal would be for him to join the authority in 2013 or 14. His promos would be to brag about how much he does for kids and how ungreatful the fans are! He toes the line of the authority like a good soldier and a yes man.
