@@writerworld1111 isn’t astrophysics a broad subject that also needs stuff like nuclear physics? The books sir recommended are related to cosmology which I’m not sure if it requires quantam mechanics

Sir, I loved your recommendations and thoughtful Podcasts. That 10 stories of Indian History Podcast was eye-opening and thought provoking. It made me more proud of our ancient civilization and roots. Also your talks at The Jaipur Dialogues and Sangam Talks was a piece of history. Can we have more please?
I think feynman lectures on physics 3 volumes are enough to understand some of the basic principles.you donot need these books.but if you are a physics major then of course u can go through those books.otherwise you will get discouraged by them.i am a phy major believe me,feynman lectures in physics are a great place to start, even before resnick and haliday.feynman will motivated u place to place in his books, you will start liking the subject, and he constantly criticized the people who present physics as a hard subject.
Analysis of Genghis khan and answer for this question...well done sir. The most clearest duel explanations that I have ever seen..this is the reason I always follow Indians video in any subject that makes me doubt. THANK YOU VERY MUCH SIR.
Just looking at Kleppner, Griffiths, Strang, and Tennebaum brings back college night-out memories. Aah how much I miss physics. This video really brings back all the pent-up curiosity about the mystery of the universe. :
Bhaiya aap syed bsc in physics honge , kya aap mujhe bata sakte hai calculus ka use kya hai , maine recently class 11 mai ushe pada , par mujhe uska use samaj nahi aya , not found any video on RU-vid useful
@@schrodingerrocks7807 see physics can't run without math and calculas is a important part of math.so in daily life , physics is used every where. And those physics can't exist without calculas
sir i am an mbbs student and i am deeply inspired by math and physics. I've always loved quantum mechanics taught in class 12... I want to start from scratch learning and solving the books you recommended.... but managing it with my hectic mbbs schedule, it is going to be very tough. I also want to learn coding and started learning python a week back... Hope i am able to conquer my ambitions
I am from engineering background... Though I am learning coding rn.. I am also interested in quantum physics and also in ancient history... And tbh I have no idea how to put these 3 together
Sir can u please teach science in form of lecture from basic to advance level. Plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Ur explanation is awesome. I have seen u in one of episodes of ranveer show. And it was so informative. It will b amazing if u can teach us everything from basic to advance.
Oh boy... 🥴 Still, I'm going to challenge myself to watch your video with Melissa Ji and see if I can understand anything apart from being utterly fascinated
Before reading all this first read modren physics by Arthur Beiser, if you need to explore more than read it again. This book make you curious and inspire enough to read and understand landu or schaum series. The books suggested by him will not help you to clear any competitive exam in india. Off course those are great books for research and particular for master and PhD curriculum. Yes to clear compititive exam one needs to understand fundamentals, I feel BSc books of B. S. Agarwal are great to understand concept and clear exam as well. Griffth for electrodynamics. Zettile for Quantum are great.
What are your thought on self taught theoretical physicist and any resources, books suggestion if one desires to be a self taught theoretical physicist ?
Yes astrophysics is easier than quantum mechanics but it is no piece of cake for a grand unified theory we need to work on it from both the fonts so astrophysics is also very important
Popular science books and videos : "Calculating the Cosmos" by Ian Stewart. "PBS Space Time" RU-vid channel is a great introduction to concepts and interesting quirks of Quantum Theories. Leonard Susskind has written a book series called The Theoretical Minimum for amateurs to understand Modern Physics without deleting the maths : 1) Classical Mechanics 2) Quantum Mechanics 3) Special Relativity and Field Theory 4) General Relativity (upcoming)
Sir pls talk ABOUT sir ISSAC NEWTON , abot the concepts of Mechanics , integration , gravitational force . History of mankind peeping into physics . Also about history of gravitation . Really waiting for ur reply sir 🙏 #TheRanveerShow
IE Irodove & SS Krotov solve kardo physics ka nasha utar jaayega or Nasha hoo jaayega... Class 12 mein hoo toh must solve karo iit advance bhi clear hoo jaayega..
What are your views on exams like IIT JEE which is mainly dependent on mugging up the formulas and more than 95% of students get into IITs are from coaching institutes what are your views on these kinds of exams and how India can make it better?
What the hell you are talking about.surely you never attempted jee. You dont need to learn single formula if you understand them for IIT JEE .(personal experience)
30 years that shook physics is a great book for just theory without using equations just to give some feel of physics and explain the rivalry between scientists during that period
Just one book. If you can comprehend it. "The Road To Reality" by Roger Penrose PS. "In physics, a gauge theory is a type of field theory in which the Lagrangian does not change (is invariant) under local transformations from certain Lie groups." These kind of statements are what you actually need to deal with if you want to understand QFT.
Bro can you tell me some simple ways to deal with Group Theory especially Lie Algebra and Gauge theory to tackle quantum physical theory well with some physical meaning atleast. Any recommendations..!!
I disagree with the sequence of books suggested for the mathematical reinforcement. First, I will swap the order (assuming you have differential and integral calculus), and then follow this progression: 1) differential equations by Teenenbaum (yes, it's excellent!) 2) Linear Algebra by Gilbert Strang, 3) there is a missing recommendation for a complex variable book, Churchill's would be the most sounding one, 4) you could skip the Mathematics for Scientist books and perhaps 4) Jump straight to Fuller and Byron (Math of Classical and Quantum Physics) because it covers what is contained in numeral (3)...by the way, I owe the books that I'm mentioning. Also, I think he is overdoing the Classic Mechanics component. Go straight to core and do Alonso and Finn's series in physics (find the 3 volumes separately if possible, the 3rd volume is incredibly difficult to come by tho), and complement those with the Lectures in Physics by Feynman, after this, you are ready for the hard core graduate level books in QM Also, as he says it correctly, all this dependes on what you are trying to achieve, your level of expertise and self-motivation. What about to consider to major in Physics?
But sir.. what about Calculus, Topology, Differential Geometry and Riemannian Geometry?? is it not necessary to understand General Theory of Realitivity
To be honest, I have read too much about astrophysics & Quantum physics, and I haven't got my answers yet. Basically, we are just agreeing and nodding along with the facts we've listened or read. I believe our Upanishads has brief description about these objects and prospects. A complete synopsis. No anecdotes. I want to be guided by someone who have read upnishads, and that's pretty difficult to find someone who has the true knowledge about real science.
@@rabbit-ku1bn Thank you for the recommendation, but I'd rather learn more about Astronomy from Surya Sidhanta & Nasadiya Sukta. You should eulogize such sacred scriptures and relish their virtuous grandeur and transcendence.
Sir please make video on our first teerthankar bagwan aadinath in Jainism because so many people believe that mahaveer swami was the founder but that's not true, so please make the video on our first teerthankar
#AskAbhijit what are Your thought about Sinauli civilization .was their technology was ahead of their timeline like the chariot found in that place recently and why there are no more research about Sinauli now??? pls take this Question first in tomorrow's live stream pls🙏🙏🙏🙏
I Dream of the day , when we invent the Time Machine which will ressurect the Books and Manuscripts that were burnt ..... By Khilji , Nalanda , and then the World shall know , What we did have and what we do have and what we can have , if we want to .
Good day Sir, My nephew is in fifth class (10 year old), can you recommend books for him, he has shown interest in space science therefor you can recommend book for beginners. Regards Dayal Singh
Would love to see your views on Acharya agnivrat naishthik for his 'vedic rashmi theory' of origin of universe or his claim of this theory being the actual theory of everything. Understanding his concept with open mind just the way we watch sci fi movie, would be informative and entertaining, modern physicist of course will see the authenticity or may not. ( But Indians will need western certification to believe in it.)
Sir plz make more videos on History, astrophysics, physics and genetics of Indians and every other major country. You are making very less videos on this channel, Just 3 videos 🤦♂️🤦♂️ is very less number. Plz make MORE VIDEOS.
Sir, or anyone, can you suggest which books to study (not just reading for pleasure) to get into the field of Quantum Gravity, Black holes, Wormholes? These are theories, so I don't know if there are books for these, but if there is any, can you suggest for beginners to advanced level?
नमस्कार, keeping the insvasion myth aside. The language found in the harappan sites is not english and If the Saraswati really vanished in lets say 2nd 3rd millennium BC. Do you propose that 2 languages(sanskrit being the first)were in practice side by side or a local language(s) in the harappan sites is/are found? Plz answer sir..🙏🙏
In which epoch was quantum field(the first, earliest QF) was created?was it in planck epoch or GUT epoch or Electroweak epoch or quark epoch or other epochs OR at instant of bigbang? Can u plz ansr this?
I have it. It's so dense and superfluous. I give up. It's a Adderall book. Dover publishes a lot of these, books too dense and loopy to understand. I give up, how are people reading these
#askabhijit sir please suggest books for bsc. and msc. physics for all subjects like mechanics, electromagnetism, optics, etc. And books to study astrophysics from basic to advanced
Sir I want to become a competent astrophysicist but all the quantum mechanics and mthematics books that u have recommended should be read to master astrophysics or some of the rigorous qm books can be neglected
