Adult books I read include: Mr. Mercedes by Stephen King The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren The Goldfinch by Donna Tartt Milk and honey by rupi kaur The sun and her flowers rupi kaur Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie (a classic)

Mistborn is amazing! I listened to the audiobook for it, and love how the narrator reads it. The magic system is really unique, and the characters are ones you can’t help but love. Kingdom of Ash is probably one of the best in the series. You are going to need to reread Queen of Shadows, Empire of Storms, and Tower of Dawn though you have true understanding

I am going to finish my HP reread! I started in November 2019 and I’m currently on prisoner of Azkaban. I was in a bit of a reading slump but I haven’t read HP since the first time I read it when the books were being released. I wondered if I would love it as much as I was so surprised that I enjoy as much as I do. It truly is a timeless story for all ages.

My goals this year are to start a book diary and read more often. So at the end of this new decade I can see all those books I read in my dairy and reflect. It will also be a good opportunity to see how I changed from the start till the end and which genres I liked at the start and at the end. I hope I make it💫

You should read Furyborn by Claire Legrand! (I see you already have the second one) I know you have been struggling with YA Fantasy recently, and Furyborn is really exceptional. It has two timelines but it is so easy to understand. Even more, one of the female protagonist is a super villain, and you see her go to the dark side. I am in love with it, for real.

Well, I personally think it’s okay to grow out of some reading habits, because I left Fantasy and young adult a couple of years ago after they were my favorite genres for so long. I still read them occasionally but I won’t lie to myself as I enjoy more adult fiction and non-fiction. So I guess you shouldn’t be hard on yourself when you just stop liking something, people do change.

for 2020 i've come up with a tbr tackling idea that i'm really happy about! i'm hoping to read around 5 books a month: 1 of which is a book i own and havent read, another of which i am borrowing from someone and haven't yet read, and then finally have 1 book each month from a yearly tbr compiled of books i've had on my goodreads tbr for everrrrr. this plan still leaves 2 books a month for when i'm feeling like a mood reader, so hopefully everything works out and i can have a productive reading year for once xD

Of all the Booktuber books that have come out/coming out, yours is the one I am the most hopeful for. As for goals, I am doing the Popsugar Reading Challenge: of the 50 books I want to read, I want a majority of them to be books that I own, and the ones that are on my list that I don't own I have to either buy them on sale or get them from the library, save for a few I know I can't get on sale. My husband is hopeful for our bank account's sake. And I want to read more books written by men (14 so far), and more autobiographies (3). As I get through more books, I want to go through the process of unhauling books that I'm not particularly attached to so I can free up space on my shelves.

I have this weird thing where I like crossing things off a list or completing challenges. So I decided to write 20 challenges so I can read a book for each challenge. I love to read but it's been hard to make it a priority with college so I thought if I make it so I am completing a challenge it will encourage me to read more. I want to read more than 20 books but we'll say this is a baseline. And the challenges are not complicated at all and have very loose rules. Like one challenge is "Read a Romance" but that can be any book that is either all about the romance or a heavily featured romantic subplot. Just easy stuff that will get me back on my reading game.

Uprooted is one of my favorite fairy tale retellings. My resolutions, hmmm, I haven't really thought it through yet but.... off the top of my head. 1) I also want to catch up on series that I enjoy. 2) I have a fairly large stack of nonfiction that is half read. I tend to read fiction at night and nonfiction in bits and pieces when the opportunity arises during the days. But if I get caught up in a story, the nonfiction gets shoved aside. So, yes, work on finishing the nonfiction. 3) I'd also like to read more books that I already own instead of mostly library books. The problem is library books are usually more recently published and are new! Shiny! But at one time I felt the same way about the books I put on my shelves, right!? They've become the older child being ignored when the new baby arrive. Sigh. Read from my shelves. And 4) I like to read several more classics each year.

The audiobook for The Handmaid’s Tale is great! I loved the narrator and thought it was brilliant (I got the one narrated by Claire Danes, I thinks there are more than one out there)

My resolution is to not set an easily achievable reading goal on Goodreads. I want to set a more ambitious goal next year (I only set it at 15 in 2019) 😅

I read the handmaid’s tale this year. It was depressing as frickk :D had to self-medicate with comedy tv shows afterwards

Wow 100 books that's a lot. The most that I had was 43 and that was only in 2012 when my schedule in college was very light. 😄

When there are books I want to read from my TBR that seem daunting or I just seem averse to picking them up, but I do want to get them read, I give myself a goal of 10 pages a day, or you could do a chapter a day. That's totally doable and still gives you the chance of getting hooked. Another resolution is to DNF books I am really not enjoying or struggling to get into after so many pages. I can always pick them up again later when my reading mood changes. :) I gave Uprooted 3 stars. There was something about the writing I didn't enjoy. Mistborn is totally worth it, though!

Mistborn is sooooooo good. Even though it’s the first book in a trilogy, it has a rather satisfying ending, so if you don’t want to continue, you won’t feel bad.

At first I didn't think I would enjoy Carry on, but I gave it a shot and push through a few first chapters and then I REALLY loved it! I couldn't shut up about it. Hope you'll enjoy it :)

Laughed as soon as I saw Kingdom of Ash. I'm doing exactly that, rereading the ENTIRE series over the last 2 weeks so I can FINALLY read tower of dawn and kingdom of ash with my memory in tact.
