Because i think in our modern world we see it as very old fashioned, but for people like me and others i see it as a chance to learn something, and not have the mind-set that it was 'before my time' and learn nothing.

Because literature covers so many different ages. eg. Wind in the Willows was a set school book back in the fifties, was plagiarised as a children's TV presentation and yet ask anyone under thirty and you will be rewarded with a blank stare. Animal Farm George Orwell, immensely popular in the 80's and dead before the millenium. As a child I loved to read people like Ballantyne, Dickens and so on -- where are they now?
