I am currently reading Wrong Place, Wrong Time by Gillian McAllister. It is about a teenage boy who murders someone in the middle of the night right in front of his parents. The mom falls asleep on the cough and when she wakes up it is the day before. She has to figure out who the victim is and why her son murder him. It definitely has ground hog day feels to it. The setting of this book takes place in England.

The secret history and if we were villains are very similar but I think if we were villains is better! The secret history’s chapters are like 90 pages long… but I think you would really enjoy if we were villains! The writing is beautiful!

Some addicting YA mysteries: Don't Get Mad duology by Gretchen McNeil, The Perfectionists duology & The Amateurs trilogy by Sara Shepard (Amateurs is more set around spring break, but still involves a found family vibe w/ teens from different backgrounds meeting on a cold case website & solving one themselves). Also Sara's Lying Game series takes place at the start a school year.
