Back in the 1950's in Glendale, CA, we would go for walks after dinner. On garbage night people would put the coolest stuff out in the trash. My parents found a really cool bookshelf with a cupboard at the bottom. They had it for years. It was fun diving back then too!
Sally isn't a monster. NBC is one of my favorite movies, have you watched it? She is actually a doll that one of the villains made, and she breaks free and is now with jack. You should totally watch it if you haven't, it's a great movie and there are no monsters in it, it's a love story.

Absolutely love that you saved that bookshelf. And I feel the same way. Don’t buy new if u can help it. I go to the Goodwill bins and usually find what I am looking for. So weird but it happens. Piece of advise. Maybe get an inverter for the truck to plug into the cigarette lighter that converts to regular outlet to try the tv and other electrical things so if they don’t work then you can leave it in the trash. The bookshelf is perfect! Love that you left the little plaque on it, keeps it's uniqueness! On that little Xmas door mat, just trim with scissors the chewed part and trim the exact same on the other side, and VOILA! It now matches! Lol
The bookshelf is built well, too! Very well made and will last forever! Great find! 😊😊😊 that folding table is also a piece that will last forever even if you have to replace the top.

Please go to the Dumpsters of big stores without compacters, like grocery & $-Tree stores if you can. Since you both are kind & leave things in the blessing boxes around your city I think you will find amazing things for yourselves & others.

I hate dumpster lids. They are annoying and heavy, especially when they hit you in the head. Lol. I throw them open till I am done then close them. Makes diving some much easier and kinda safer for you. Keep on divin’. 🌞🌻💜
If you have a pretty glass bottle from food stuff you can fill it with the dried roses on stems and fill it with clear baby oil and close with the top. Makes a pretty display in sun window!
Hey Kelly and Alex. I wanted to tell you how much I love your channel and videos. I also wanted to tell y'all that I got a new kitty. We saved her from going to the shelter. I named her Dolly (after my favorite idol Dolly Parton). She's very tiny and supposedly just had a litter a couple of months 😢. She is a gray tabby just a year old. She is going to the Vet tomorrow for shots and worming. We will be getting her spayed very soon too. Of course she'll be indoors only where she'll be safe and happy. She makes cat #3. ❤
Sweet bookshelf find! Love when it feels like something was meant to be, fits in the exact space etc. FYI in the dumpster you found the curvey picture frames that you initially thought were air filters...there was some medical waste. The large/tall brown plastic bottles with the white lids are urine collection bottles, and there was also something that looked like what we call a "hat" in the hospital, it sits in the toilet to collect urine so you can measure the volume of urine you pee. Be careful out there!
