I adored this tour. It was the perfect balance between detail and thoroughness. If I didn't know you lived in Scotland and I live in Oregon, I'd wonder if we were the same person, because we have so many favorite matching books and series, and our logic (logic? odd reasons? quirks?) is/are so similar. Also, you're the only booktuber I've met that unapologetically double stacks. I do so because it's the only way to fit all my books... well, they did fit, and then I went to a big library book sale... ahem. I also didn't realize how many stones and crystals I owned until I realized that all your pretties reminded me of all my pretties. I watched your video just before I turned off the lights and instead of tossing and turning, I ran my own shelf tour in my brain until somewhere between my witchy book collection and my shelf of field guides I fell asleep.

I actually never understood the popularity of bookshelf tours because I find them quite boring but you made your tour so interesting with those little stories and only introducing the books that have a special meaning to you. Going through bookshelves and the books one by one without hearing any additional information from the person filming is just really boring to me. So, well done!

Those illustrated editions you have for A Song of Ice and Fire books 1 - 3 are released on the 20th anniversary of each book, so they haven't released the other two yet since they still haven't hit their 20th birthday. If I remember correctly, the 4th book came out in 2005 so we should have the next illustrated edition in 2025! 💕

No one ever talks about it but I happened upon it once in the middle of a vampire kick and it's now one of my favorites, you just know if it was published right now people would be all over how "cozy" it is (outside of the brutal vampire attacks lol), so sad it isn't better known

🌲🌳🌴✨🎇❇ This was a perfect video for me - nice and long lol - I loved seeing your books and hearing about where you got them, why you keep them etc - we don't keep many books but we would if we had special editions like a lot of yours are. I have put Three Hours on my library wish list - there must be over a hundred books on there now due to the book tube community recommendations - a lot from you lol. Plus you have more Rivers of London books than we have read, so they have been added to the booklists I carry with me so that I can pick them up whenever I see them - we have a long list of authors who we want to read in order! Loved also seeing your crystals - I have a bit of a collection, but they are not out on display - we're not so keen on ornaments really - more plants. I loved the shimmery silver sheen obsidian - never seen that before. Kyanite is my favourite crystal and recently got a shard of black kyanite. I am envious of your crow skull - I was gifted a crow foot some years ago and its able to hold a small azurite blueberry in its claws. Also have a selenite column which I found in a charity shop. At the moment I'm on the look out for a crystal ball - don't know why, but I feel drawn that way. So very very well done with this tour - I could gibber on about it all night remembering all the bits and pieces, books and all free of dust which I think is a miracle - if you've read this far leave a pile of books emoji 🤣🤣🤣

I am BEGGING you to read the Clocktaur War duology by T. Kingfisher. It is a HORRIFICALLY under read and under appreciated adult fantasy duology that is written so amazingly. It's one of my absolute favorite series, and I think you would love T. Kingfisher's writing style!

That was lovely. I have the same edition of "The Wind in the Willows", which I bought myself after agonizing over which edition to buy. I totally agree, it's a wonderfully cozy read and has become one of my favorite books. I spotted "The Lost Spells" on your witchy shelf and would love to hear your thoughts on it. I haven't added it to my library yet and am interested in hearing more about it.

Sorry 2nd comment (because I'm notorious for writing comments as I watch, shock horror XD) - firstly, that Wind & The Willows edition is just so happy & sweet, love it! For illustrators, I've always loved Arthur Rackham and Brian Froud (who worked on The Labyrinth.) On the flip side, I really enjoyed Rosamund Lupton's 'Sister' novel, so will definitely read her others! I really love Mo Hayder's creepy-as-heck novels, but sadly she passed away a couple of years ago :-(
