Hi Emma! I annotated and sent that City of Bones to you a few years back and I'm absolutely thrilled and touched to see it here :') kinda hard to believe I've been following along with you for so many years. Also my handwriting is absolute trash i am so sorry lolol
Anna Anna I didn’t say they didn’t differentiate between themselves, but we (people outside the aforementioned countries) didn’t have to differentiate between them.
Omg never been this early just wanted to tell you that you the best youtuber ever I was bullied in school for reading so much and then I found your channel which encouraged me to not stop reading, now I don’t care what anyone says because I accept myself as a bookworm 💖💖💖📚
The editing and dedication put in this video is just everything ♥ Edit: And I also loved how you actually talked about the books instead of just showing them and reading the title. :))
@Anna Anna J.K Rowling has repeatedly said and done several transphobic things. She is the textbook example of the transphobe. If you don't support LGBT rights then you're homophobic and that's your choice. You being Christian has nothing to do with it, because I know many Christians who aren't homophobic or transphobic. If Rowling repeatedly says transphobic things, she's a transphobe. There's no way to go around that. The same way if you repeatedly say racist things, then you're a racist.
@Anna Anna, this isn't about u being a christian or making a viewpoint, this is about protecting gays from harrassment and other forms of abuse, they are humans too why can't u see that any viewpoints or opinions against them is a huge problem to humanity.
Personally if you're interested in Harry Potter but specifically not supporting JK Rowling, buy her books secondhand or borrow them from the library and pirate the movies.
It's amazing how many people can write so many amazing stories. I find this fascinating how they make their stories. Thinking of buying a book real soon.
Ah so exciting to see the Jace funko pop again- I'm so glad you like it!! I had a blast making it and meeting you at Yallfest (definitely one of my favorite memories ever!) 😆➰ lovely bookshelf tour as always Emma!! 😍📚
Started watching the moment you released it, and I just keep getting more jealous with every minute of the video.Your bookshelves are just gorgeous to the next level boss!!
i honestly didn't think I would enjoy watching someone go through their bookshelf, but I found it very relaxing. I love all your different city of bones books. Its a great collection! I also always enjoy seeing the swag on shelves-its fun to see the different creations out there
I've searched HIGH AND LOW for the barnes and noble exclusive edition of city of bones but I really don't think I'm ever gonna find it! I absolutely love your shelves, you're 100% my inspo when it comes to stacking books. I literally never thought of doing that before seeing your shelves a few years ago!
Thank you for taking the time to make this massive video that must have been difficult to edit. I find great mental health book recs from your bookshelf tours❣
Emma's handmade mortal cup sitting on her shelf and the pride in her voice when she talks about making it give me so much life. I can't. Don't touch me. I'm soft.
GOALS. The paranormal stuff and the sci fi dystopians, they real cute. But also all the shadowhunter stuff. I hope to have shelves this stunning one day
I absolutely loooooooved your shadowhunter chronicles shelved. The Vladimir Todd books were definitely favorites of mine when I was in high school and I wish I didn’t get rid of mine.
What J.K Rowling has said doesn't put me off reading her books. Remember, she wrote these books before she made her comments however controversial they were.. whatever an Author may say does not stop me reading their books.
Exactly separate art from artist do I like jk know no, do I like Harry Potter yes. Otherwise you couldn’t read half of the classics I mean most of them even had slaves.
What I think about the HP controversy: You don't have to hate the books just because the Creator is a jerk. The books are incredible works of art but that doesn't mean the Creator is an incredible person don't hate the book just because you hate the Creator.💛💛 not against ur choice just thought of that lol
OMG I had no idea you own/read The Chronicles of Vladimir Todd! I absolutely love these books and they hold a special place in my heart because I discovered & bought these books at my school’s annual book fair throughout middle school & was the very first vampire book I read. I literally don’t know anyone else who’s read those books so I flipped whenever they were mentioned in the vid! Loved the video, sending much love & support! 💕☺️
What a creative way to take on a Bookshelf tour. I love your comments about the books other than just the title and author. Thanks for the hard work Emma ❤️ It’s very much appreciated.
I love your bookshelf tours. I always like to watch them once all the way through and then I can go back through someone time pausing it to see the different groupings again since you have them by genres, which I lobe. Then I can write down different books to check out.
I read Study in Charlotte (and loved it!), and I heard of the Last of August (but wasn't committed enough to read it), and when you showed two more sequels I about lost my damn mind; I had no idea they existed lol
I’m a graduate student studying professional counseling and am currently in my internship! I’m definitely going to be getting some of those mental health books!
I always loved how passionate you are about The Mortal Instruments series and spinoffs, that is me with Vampire Academy and Bloodlines but now I feel I can appreciate your shelf more as I just started TMI for the first time 3 days ago and I've just started City of Glass
Hi Emma, I'm new to your channel and I absolutely loved your bookshelf tour! I've read several of the books you mentioned and loved your reviews on them also.
Just a few days ago I thought "man I wish we could get an update on her Shadowhunter shelves" because I've got all the books in German (the one's that are out yet anyway) and I've started collecting them in English now (and rereading, Cassie's books are one of the few I read in my native language because I started when I was 13 and don't wanna switch sort of mid series). And now we get an update on all of your shelves! Hell yeah ❤🙈
This is the most thorough, amazing, detailed book tour🥺😍 thank you for taking the time to do this!! Its so appreciated and i soaked up every minute❤️❤️
Karin slaughter is an amazing writer. I don't normally cry easily with books but parts in her Will Trent series had me sobbing, especially the sixth book criminal. I saw you had her book 'The kept woman' it's the eighth in the series. Being dyslexic reading has always been a challenge but Karin slaughter (Will Trent series) and Rob Lloyd Jones ( Wild Boy) made me full in love with reading.
I love that introduction of the blank shelf. 😂 Your bookshelves and book collection is incredible. 😍 Good luck with school!! I’m trying to go back for my Master’s degree for Early Childhood Education. 🥰
emmmabooks I wasn’t sure about continuing and was getting to the point of giving up, but observing how you are still going and not giving up has given me motivation to keep going. Thank you for being an inspiration to me and countless others. 💖
You have so many books! 🤩 This is an inspiration! Unfortunately, almost every book in my country are sold in full price and book sales are really rare and most of the time, I don't have money when book sales happen so my mom and I would always save up money and buy books on my birthday! So far, I have 24 books! 🥰
I have quite a few of the books on your shelves and I loved Laura Dean Keeps Breaking Up with Me, Eliza and Her Monsters (like Eliza I suffer from Social Anxiety Disorder) and other books.
I'm so happy that you have Am I Normal Yet? by Holly Bourne! I don't see a lot of people outside the UK talk about it. It's probably one of my favourite books. It is mainly about a girl with OCD and how she accepts herself with that. It has a bit of feminism in it, but the second two books in the trilogy are centered around that more than the first one
goals goals goals!! I've been accumulating books for a few years now but as I'm living in uni accommodation I don't have big shelves to put them on yet. One day though
Can't wait to get my Collectors Edition of Crooked Kingdom for my birthday ! Btw, I love you anr your videos Emma. I get so excited whenever you post a new video 😙❤❤❤❤
Thank you for doing this! I've been looking for more books to read and I didn't expect to find something so perfect, I have selective mutism and just the plot behind Eliza and her monsters seems like something I can relate to, so I'm excited to buy it!
The way I still haven't read Chain of Gold yet because I still have not read Clockwork Prince and Clockwork Princess in order to finish the Infernal Devices series and I want to be able to know what happens before I read Chain of Gold and it's killing me! Watching your video helped it go down a bit because your bookshelves are so beautiful :) ♡♡♡
the czech city of bones is actually slovak which is my home country and i woulve never guessed you would have sooo many copies of my favourite series oh wow! your bookshelves are truly fazing 💙
If you're looking for a book with health/mental rep, I recommend You'll Miss Me When I'm Gone. Actually I can't actually recommend it because I haven't read it but it's about these twins who get tested for Huntingtons chorea, a degenerative disorder where you slowly lose control of motor and cognitive function. It shortens life span but one has it and the other doesn't. We get to see how it impacts there relationship. They are also Jewish. I have yet to read it so I can't speak to how good it is but I rarely see Huntingtons mentioned in novel and I think it would be an interesting read!
