I read all of Wilkie Collins' Novels and love many of them especially The Woman in White, No Name, Armadale, the dead Secret and the Moonstone.

@jeffreykaufmann2867 I’m currently reading Armadale and enjoying it immensely! It’ll be sad to be done with his major works. I’ll probably try out The Dead Secret next. Thank you for watching ☺️

@@marianneguevara8279 Armadale is his longest Novel but unlike some long classics Collins' Novels don't have any boring parts. I read most of Thomas Hardy's Novels. The Mayor of Casterbridge & Far From the Madding Crowd are my two favorites. The Movie ( FFTMC) was also enjoyable. Have u seen it? ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5-_9AFwMDmQ.htmlsi=e1NIgw2vR4e-U-Q_

Oh, I'd like to read America Is in the Heart, too! As with so many memoirs like that, I do feel like I need to be in the right headspace first... Also some of your editions are just stunning, especially the Fitzgeralds 🤩

I honestly have no idea when I'll get to America is in the Heart 😅. I rarely find myself in the mood to read a book that will undoubtedly make me upset. Fitzgerald is one of those classic authors that I feel consistently gets beautiful editions of his works.

Interesting to hear your comments on Henry James. I've read Washington Square by him and have been meaning to read The Ambassadors (since I have a copy). My friends and I have a summer reading group where we read philosophy. We read The Four Loves five years ago now. It was good. I'm really interested in reading The Makioka Sisters.

I've read The Europeans, Daisy Miller, and The Turn of the Screw by Henry James. My favorite was probably Daisy miller but I've never really fell in love with anything he's written. Hopefully The Wings of the Dove changes that. I always have The Portrait of a Lady to try out though if it doesn't work out 😅 That's cool that you guys have a reading group dedicated to philosophy; I've never come across a reading group that focuses on that. I'm glad to hear that you liked The Four Loves; I'm eager to get to it.
