I love how peaceful your videos are. I also enjoy seeing footage from around a community I’m familiar with! I believe you’re in a suburb of Portland where I grew up. I see you shop at Blick. Curious to know which other local art stores you enjoy? Thank you for this lovely respite!

Thank you so much, Jill! I am so glad you enjoy them and that they bring back some fun memories! You know, I haven't ventured out to find any smaller, brick and mortar, local type art shops yet! But would. love to find some to support! I am very passionate about supporting small businesses! So you have inspired me to do some research and find some! :)

@@RandiLynnReed If you get a chance, check out Columbia Art and Drafting on 15th and E. Burnside. Great selection and local. (I do my fair share of Blick shopping, too.) I also really like Ovation in the Pearl for their stationary and fountain pens & inks.

I have on occasion taken my sketchbook into outdoor cafes,it is amazing how people will talk to you and open up about their own creative goals ,it is mutually encouraging and a good way to connect in community😇
