Lovely vlog. Last time I stayed in an apt with a view across Greyfriars Kirkyard and watched those tours from my bedroom window. Will be back next month to get into the christmas spirit. 😊
This is a perfect wander around Edinburgh. I live here and these are all my favourite places. I take them for granted so think I'll treat myself to a day in town 🥰
I am one of those people who are afraid to travel alone, but watching you made it look fun. Scotland is one of the destinations on my list to visit one day. It looks beautiful. Historic with modern touches. The temptation to buy is real. Books are cheaper than amazon germany? That sounds dangerous. 😄
I am so glad it looks that way because it really IS fun travelling alone! I'll be making some videos about solo travelling soon and I hope that helps you ❤
@@rebekkateha I wouldn’t recommend stockbridge as it is a bit far for walking - New Town or West End are good spots. Or around Old Town if you have the budget for it 😌 basically stick as close to the main street and walking will be comfortable in all directions. And I am very glad you liked the video! I have another Scotland one with some more Edinburgh reccs 🥰
Nice video. Edinburgh has a lot of interesting independent bookshops and some really good specialists in vintage books. I often saw JKR in the Elephant House before she was famous, but we never talked, because she was busy writing in longhand. Hello from Edinburgh :)
You did a fair bit of walking from the old town to the new town .i travel alone and find a polite enquiry to staff or a native works well it is not that i cannot read a map or board but it is interactive and you often get the insider tips people generally want to help
It rarely gets very cold in Edinburgh anymore due to changes in the climate, but it can be very windy in January and February. Do visit if you can, I've never come accross anyone who didn't like it. Best times to come are Spring and Autumn.
