When you dropped some of those semitones in the sample it made it sound better. Those vox samples really brought it to life. Sounded like it could be the chorus portion. You be cooking up in the DP Studios

anyone who sees this can you please respond, I'm not sure if I should buy the Ableton Push 2 or the MPC x. I want to make boom bap beats and I want to sample. I want to go for the best of the best, what do you think I should choose? I use Logic Pro X

Its not the gear. Its how well you learn anything you get. That determines your beats. You do your research and choose what best suits you. If the choice comes from you and the work comes from you then your beats will be awesome regardless of what you are making them with. 💯
