zedersteel966mod it reminds me of rockstar’s or south park’s writing staff... they take pride in having fun over making something timeless and wholesome
I love how the joke of this show the jokes were forced and that WAS the joke which made it funny like all the puns being forced that was the whole joke and people like me saw that and still laughed but critics that don't see it say it's cringe and lazy and stupid
Mielli they are doing a satanic ritual, and they needed a sacrifice. The sacrifice had to be tied upside down, as the chosen one, a small child, performs a satanic, bizarre dance and sings: boom chakka chakka
@@Thobeian I'm just curious, what did they have against Ed, Edd and Eddie? That stuff is tame compared to Tom and Jerry and Looney toons, like the other guy said
@@fabiana7157 it was my grandparents who had a problem with it, really. They didn't like that the Eds we're always mean to each other, or something. Or that they were always trying to scam kids. I didn't get it either, so I always tried to watch it when I could
@@Thobeian Ohh I get it now, I suppose it KINDA makes sense since they did try to scam the other kids in the neighbourhood and Eddy was pretty much obsessed with money 😂 But then again, didn't they always fail in the end? So basically it was discouraging kids from doing such things since they supposedly don't work or you get punished for it. Lol good for you for watching it, millions of kids grew up with them and I doubt it had a negative effect.. I grew up with Tom and Jerry and I haven't tried to kill anyone yet
I wonder if this was deliberately planned to be in the episode, or if one of the animators decided to use a 3D animation program and accidentally created this horrifying creature, and convinced the director to include this _thing_ into the show just for the hell of it.
Its actually a reference to that terrifying cgi animated baby that was considered one of the earliest in-jokes (which we now call memes) on the internet. It was even a recurring gag on "Ally McBeal".
Kirby625 they mean they wish the show would continue with new episodes, cause you could go on something like Hulu and watch it all the time. But with things like the voice actors like chowder aging there would be no way without the voices sounding a little off
I remember the day after this episode aired, this was all that me and a few kids in my class could think about. It was so out of place, we couldn’t stop saying “Boom Chaka chaka laka.”
99% of the comments: -this wasnt a fever dream -this is like Ramses's curse/youre not perfect level of creppy gci -Im scared 1%: Me, casually replying while wheezing Idk why I found and still find this funny
Excuse me? GCI? *creppy* GCI? What does that mean, General Creppy Institute? German College of Industry? I can’t think of any more funny acronyms so Imma just stop here. I’m sorry if English isn’t your first language.
This is one of the main reasons Chowder is my favorite CN cartoon. It's just so ridiculous, absurd, and asinine, in so many ridiculous, creative, and bizarre ways. I truly consider this a Cartoon Network classic.
I think I was too old to be scared by kid shows when this came out, yet I still enjoyed them. I just thought this was funny. Courage the cowardly dog on the other hand.....
I like how Chowder's goal the entire episode is stop Gumbo (I think that was his name) from getting his revenge and hurting Mung but by the end he throws this emotional trauma at Mung
Prot twist: The characters are not screaming and seemingly scared of the baby character thing for being disgusting, but rather because they have never really seen a 3D animated character in their 2D universe which freaks them out even more.
