Looks great, Squally! Maybe I'll get brave enough to install a system like this on Sunny! The water looks gorgeous there -- wish I was able to go sailing, but I've got about 5 more months until that happens. Keep the videos coming, please, to help me get my sailing fix! :⛵🌞
Nice setup. On one boat we use carabiner clips to secure vang to boom and mast. On my dinghy, I use screw shackles (but the vang is more-or-less permanently attached to the boom). If you plan on be out for an extended time, may tape or wire the quick release shackles just as an extra measure.
