BOOMBOX AUDITION!! NATIONA RX_A2- Part 2 Cont'd 

Another audition of a boom-box that has passed through the LABS at Chronic Foundries. This time, it's the NATIONAL RX-A2 Portable Radio, Stereo Cassette & Mixing Console. The radio & cassette were both gone over & work flawlessly. The cassette head was buffed to a mirror shine. The motor was lubed with "liquid ball bearing" synthetic oil for the motor spindle bearing. The speed & head alignment(azimuth) were set as well for an amazing sound reproduction overall. Listen for yourself. This is s direct video recording of the boombox playing a Maxell UR-90(Normal Bias). The music recorded to the tape was recorded, using my DENON DR-M34HR & played back using the deck of the NATIONAL, of course...
