Got three of them, on clearance, for $7.00 each. Everyone from my parents to my grandkids are acting like idiots out in the back yard. Best $21 I've ever spent. lol
I just got one for myself as well. My niece is getting one for Christmas and this was she and Auntie B can play with them together. My brother got himself one as well. I am hoping we will have fun and play together often :)
@mleecthulhu check out Home Depot or lowes in their as seen on TV sections they have one for sale. Online retailers increase the price around Christmas. Thanks for stopping by and commenting 👍
The one I got at home Depot is called the Wonder Ball. I don't know if it's me or whatever but I can't get it to hover and it seems a little bit heavy or maybe it's just not spinning fast enough to gain altitude but when I toss it across the room it sort of flies more like a controlled falling and then it bounces around and then usually ends up upside down and still spinning. It really isn't for a dog because they tend to tear things up like this very easily but I got a little bit of a workout just chasing the darn thing so there's that.
I just bought one for my granddaughter last night at walmart $16.95. Its called wonder spiral. It works good. My granddaughters father seem to hog it. He could get it to fly half a foot ball field . The granddaughter shes 3 years old . She gets so excited chasing it . Its more fun in the dark outside. Worth every penny. Granddaughter looks at it charging with red light. When its charged it turns green . She sees the green light and runs around house telling us its green. She want to fly it.
Got the same one from Walmart. A few bucks cheaper. They wanted 30 I wound up waiting and getting it for $14. Charging now. Watching video and commenting while it's charging. Glad to hear it works!! Well lights green now !! Time to play with my 4 year old grandson. Hope he likes it!!
Still figuring out! My one has a plastic remote that starts/stops it rather than shaking it. When you hold it at an angle to get the boomerang I assume the USB socket end is facing towards you? After a year is yours still working as it does like a short life for this is likely!
i remember when i took one to the park. some kid grabbed it and threw it. it literally started hovering away. ive had the boomerang ball for a few months and its still as fun as the first day i got it. im glad you explained how it works in the video. a lot of people call it a scam. it just depends on whether you bought the real one or not, and if the moter is too heavy.
I just bought one of these for my grandsons (and me) and this video was very helpful in getting me started on using. Only caution, when using inside keep clear of other people. It hit my wife on the head. She was not happy.
My 5 yearold has already tagged her finger accidentally while catching it. I am wondering what this thing will do to long hair if it gets sucked into the blades. Will it shut off and how quickly!?!?
I turned it on and immediately it continued to spin. I didn't know how to turn it off, it kept spinning, and spinning,... until I saw the video (while it was spinning)
I'll admit, once I got the hang of it, it is pretty fun... the hard part is sharing...lol. guess I'm getting 2 haha. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
It takes a little getting used to, but it can be a lot of fun. Also, keep fingers/hands away from the spinning blades. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Hi Jeff, of all places I saw one of these in one of end caps of a Lowes for 14.95….I like you bounced it off of the walls, the kids love it, but as you say after 10 mins it’s out of power…great review
It's pretty cool when you put it upside down On the floor, so it stays on the floor. the cats were interested in it that way, but not when it was in the air...lol
I can't count the number of times I've seen a young boy (or girl) having a game of catch for the first time, and took forever to (also, not be afraid of and) catch the ball. With this thing... it "floats" so kids have a chance to catch it (and not be so afraid of something being thrown at them)! Awesome toy. I'm over 50, and though I see a lot of toys that I would have loved to own when I was younger (at least under 20)... I really kind of want to get one of these things (plus, I *L-O-V-E* things that light-up)!! I almost bought that "functioning" Eye of Agamotto" (toy) from Doctor Strange... but decided not to. I'd have "played" Doctor Strange for about 10 minutes, then put that thing on its stand and never touch it again. But this hover ball... I also have cats, and I know that thing would drive them nuts. I HAVE TO GET ONE!!!
Lol. I'm the same way. The toys kids have these days are awesome. You won't be disappointed with the hover ball...unless it doesn't come back...lol. thanks for stopping by and commenting
@@katymorris7853Just have to laugh. Her or his hair got stuck. That was posted one year ago. So 3 months later this was posted. I could see that person waiting 3 months for an answer walking around with a Wonderball stuck to her head. 😂
Hi Jeff, I bought this to play around with because it looked interesting. I will need to put more time into it, to figure out how to use it in the ways you mentioned. Thanks for uploading this review it’s been very helpful and has made me realise, I need to practice more.
We bought two galaxy balls for our grand kids because we thought they would be a nice Christmas present for them. After they arrived in the mail we decided to test them out to see how they work. My wife turned it on and threw it into the air to see how it would fly. She kept throwing it into the air but it was very difficult to control its flight. After many attempts we both decided that it was far too difficulty for our grand kids who are ages 4-10 to operate and control. Because of that, we both decided to return the product back to the store for a full refund. I think an older kid and some adults would have fun playing with this toys outdoors after learning how to control its flight. Perhaps this toys would be better suited for kids older than 10 years old and perhaps some adults but not little kids.
Thanks Jeff it’s the lights that excite however, I would probably buy a group of them for 7$ a piece. Anything over that they can keep it besides it’s always a charger involved with all the new toys now a days ❗️‼️💯💯💯3rd 👁️ flying ball comment 💥💥💥
Hey Jeff...first thanks for the great review! Now to the our experience...Our Flynova Pro just simply flew away. We were trying it out (once) in a big play field near our home with our six year old grandson. He, of course, got the first toss (and the last). The device went up and up and up. The three of us watched at first amused, then concerned and finally frustrated. The Flynova Pro literally flew out of sight. We all looked around in the sky for some time, but no luck. Our grandson was quite unhappy and we were perplexed. What happened?! Some of the reviews state that the device can go up to 15 meters up if you use the 'magic wand'. Some have said they flew it over their house. I have to say our device could have flow over some of the skyscrapers in downtown Seattle. So, if you can reflect on this it would be great. We actually purchased two of these, but are now very hesitant to use the second one. The Flynova Pro may just fly away again! I am very impressed with your response to most of the 219 comments.
That stinks! The highest I was able to get mine was about 30 ft (9 m). It shouldn't go up and up and disappear unless it caught some wind. What I do with my son is, we first practiced in the house (in a room without breakable item). When we went outside the first time I ran down the battery for a couple of minutes. That way it wasn't a full charge and wouldn't take off. Sorry I couldn't troubleshoot specifics. Hope round 2 is better. Do you have the magic wand with yours? Thanks for sharing your experience with this item and commenting 👍
@@Jeffreviews4u Thanks for the reply! First, there was no noticeable wind when the toy went up and disappeared. Without a garage, can not say we have any rooms without breakable items. Not sure about running down the battery since there is no way to measure the charge. I searched all the reviews on Amazon for one of the recommended companies that sold this and found that 21 other customers had the same result that I had. The best solution I saw for this major problem was to tie a string to it. Not ideal, but better than watch $30 to $40 liter fly away. Less I deem this. Piece of crap, the seller needs to address this major issue!
As said ADD spouse, this thing is amazing and I am also glad to know that it's not uncommon for it to plummet to the ground at exceptional speed if it flips the fan upside down
Thank you for making this thing seem more logical! Yours is definitely built differently than mine. My model has got to be a cheap knockoff. PS. You're Wonderful!!
I picked one up today at lowes. I plan to have hours of fun with my 3 year old daughter with it. She likes to play catch with me and our pomeranian. Gonna have to keep this one away from the dog, but she will absolutely love it.
Funny I stumbled onto your vids! I just had my wife but me the boomerang ball to give me for X-mas. So haven't tried it yet. I already bought the Zipstring and am having fun with it! Jeff, you should review another fidget toy called Morf! I just got that! I thought you might get a kick outta this! It's a trip! Different, and fun! See whatcha think! By the way, I'm a 63 year old kid! 😉👍
Hand Operated Mini Flying Ball Drone Toy 360° Rotation Small UFO Toys with Shining LED Lights for Kids Adults Indoor Outdoor Fun Size random color 1 Remove
I bought it for Rs.100 (which is about USD 1.25) in the last wee of july2023. I got it so cheap because this toy was not in a box & was the last piece in the shop. With the box & the remote it was about 3USD (Rs.250). switching on & off is using the small remote control which comes in the box. I wonder why you did not get the remote control with the box. You can see an IR receiver near the charging point which is to receive signal from remote.
Thanks, Jeff! Will not charge because the USB port on it will not fit into any of my charging ports! I won’t be able use it if I can’t figure this out. Any suggestions? Thank you!!
I have a Kmart flying ball. First time on a blade snapped on startup as it hit the gear. Return for replacement & it started ok but didn't have any power dropping to ground the LED light came unglued & its also the power.
Hi Jeff, thanks for this video, I’ll practice the way you throw. One question, how to stop it? Ten on/off button is under the frame, thus when it turn the whole thing inside turns quickly, cna t access the off button.
I must have gotten the chinese rlip off version. Definitely made in China, bad engrish instluctions and terrible performane. Horrible product. Wont stay uplight,
Cool little toy. Bought my grandson one for Christmas. We are watching video as it charges. Like the video!! Like the Gators even better!!! Doesnt llook like video was made in Florida though!! Gonna check out more of your cool videos for some more cool toys to buy for my cool grandsons!!
Hello, I really liked this toy, not sure but I assume that this boy wearing green that participated on this video is your son, how old is him ? How old would you believe or saying in this toy that an kid minimum age for playing this toy? I have 6 years old daughter and I'm wondering for buying it but not sure if she will enjoy play with it or just get frustrated with difícult at beginning... Can you reply those questions please? Thank you very much for your video
You're way too generous with my time. Not willing to watch you fumble and learn as you should have before even starting this review. Better avoid power tools...
I bought a wonderball for my daughter at walmart. Ido not recommend taking these outside. We wereat a huge field I tossed it to her she bobbled it and it took off into the sky until it disappeared. She was so broken hearted she didn't even want another one. Had a full charge who knows how long or far it flew I even drove after it as long as I could before it went outta site. Stupid that they didn't have an auto shut off as so many seconds.
I was given this as a gift... the instructions were clearly not written by someone whose first language was English, so I'm pleased to learn about how to do the boomerang throw. It is also supposed to hover, and I was hoping to see that as well.
Hi Jeff! Last Christmas Someone gave me a Gyrosphere it says " the most tricked-out flying spinner. I TOO have done a lot with it only to watch it drop on the floor or fly behind furniture...let me know if u find out anything new besid😢es your video
Thanks for the hair warning. I got a set of three for $40 for my grandchildren. One has long hair so now I know how to coach them. I’m playing with one to get the feel and learn how to show them how it works. Thanks.
Got one today and it’s cool But only worth $5 maybe $10 in my opinion So I’m sending it back $25 is way to much for charge time Company needs to change price point
I got one of these for Christmas and my initial take was the same as yours. It just seems to randomly do its own thing. Hilarious at first but the joke gets old fast. Thanks for demonstrating that it can be, “tamed,” with a little practice. I’ll keep trying. By the way, mine came with written instructions which said some thing about a, “magic wand,“ and some magnetic something or other. I did not see anything like that inside the box, though. Do you know anything about that?
Some of these come with a remote control to turn it off and on. That could possibly be the wand...not sure about the magnet. Keep practicing. I'm brave enough to use it inside now. Lol. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
I picked up a few more of these...these ones came with a magnet hat which clips above the motor. Seems to hold it upright and Flys a little easier. The wand is an optional extra purchase to control the lights in flight. Hope this helps. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
