Its cause console Brawlhalla is quite literally garbage. I played on Xbox for like 2 years and I was used to it, and it felt fine. But now that I play on pc, it’s sooooooooo much better. Sometimes I hop back on Xbox to play, and the input delay is so crazy, it makes the game so much worse. Also the game is nowhere near is smooth as pc. And the game can’t run as many frames on console. Even the graphics are worse on console.

This is like asking why people in Peru would be so invested in watching Peru play in the World Cup

As someone who played on PS4 for a year, and then on controller on PC for 900+ hours before switching to keyboard, it's because playing with a controller is such a huge disadvantage given the input lag. Especially if you play on console with your frames hard limited to 60fps no matter the refresh rate of your monitor. Were excited to see that someone with such a huge disadvantage can actually get to the pro scene

Xbox runs it so fucking bad it’s unplayable after I got a PC. Idk about PS coding, but the game has insane amounts of input delay. It’s also a lot easier to hangout or see big names in the Xbox scene if ur on Xbox, which I’m sure is still the same for PS. It’s cool to see us represent our portion of the playerbase in the pro scene. Makes us feel like “on the same level” ykwim?

Pc players cap at 240HZ for bh where literally every other platform is capped at 60HZ so it’s impressive if you see a cross play on player at 2600

I play controller on pc and I like to see controller pros do well because it means I can be there. I’ve been top 1k nae for the past couple seasons in 1s and 2s on controller. It just feels nice to be represented

For anyone who’s confused console BH is capped at 60hz where as pc can run 240hz provided they have the monitor for it which basically all pros do but boomie is right console mega fans stan top console players way too hard follow them in every lobby it’s just sad

console brawlhalla has been locked at 60fps since its release many dk that and think if they buy a 120hz tv they will have a faster experience but thats sadly not the case so dont waste ur money on any tv upgrades ur still gone be on 120 fps

Its mostly the lack of fps and high input lag, I hate playing on console but rn my pc can't handle streaming and playing games at the same time so whenever I play on stream I play on console, it might not sound like much but you definitely feel it

If i have a PlayStation and i see a top player who also plays PlayStation when most of the top guys are on pc obviously I would look up to the guy who’s on the same platform as me

Xbox has more lag less fps and misinputs happen more often and its very difficult not to misclick or do an attack in the wrong direction. Pc is able to insert more keybinds as well i think (tell me if thats not true).

Because pc has an inherent (higher fps, less imput delay and runs smoother) advantage in everything so seeing someone at a disadvantage is always a pleasant surprise Personally I don't care but for the most part thats why

as a ps5 player when i transferred to pc i realized the gap btween delay on console and pc there will be things console players can never do that is normal on pc

Personally I’ve been playing on xbox for years and that’s the only way I’ve known and I’ve had many problems with input delay especially when trying to dodge incoming attacks which gets extremely annoying to the point where I only occasionally play ranked

It's the concept of being under the most limitations while on a platform. Only way pc players will understand the hype of a console lobby or player (not like most of us are stuck on console by choice we just can't get a pc) is by getting a console themselves and seeing what it takes to perform at a considerably well level under conditions they'll never go through

i am like 20x diamond on ps4 once cross play hit i was 2300 took a very long break, console cant compete with people on gaming pcs, i now play on a 2017 macbook pro, but i run to my 244hz monitor and am on abt 190 fps, much much smoother, and im peaking 2400 first season back on the game, not nearly how good i used to be, but its a grind, seeing people that are 2600+ on console is insane, they are at severe disadvantage, console you HAVE to read more and can hardly react to dodges etc. but on pc that’s cake.

the advantage pc has is crazy for a console player to beat boomie while there both playing on there respected set ups the console player would need to be a step ahead boomie being at a disadvantage this is how every approach is in console v pc especially las gen console

it’s simple. using a controller has a disadvantage against pc. For those who started on controller wondered if we should switch over to overcome the skill gap… but along come luna a controller player. if he can do it we can as well so it’s a nice sight to see.

Well i played on a 75hz monitor from my start of brawlhalla (feb 2021) and played for 1 year until i got my 165hz monitor and i went from 1800 elo to 1900, i say u can react faster but idk about input delay on console tho. After all console players can play on a laptop or something if they want. Probably lower elo you are more gonna improve off having a pc. If ur a 2400 and get a pc you wont improve by much since u are used to the input delays and the fps so ur prob rise for like 50 elo. You can still play controller tho.

Console Brawlhalla is a disadvantage. The console players are used to it but in most cases it’s just limited in comparison to PC. Mentioning it all the time tho is pretty obnoxious especially since it’s done all the time

It'd because everyone plays on PC, and playing on PC is different then console, so when u find a successful player on console u can get a real look at what's actaully achievable for a console player, their r some things on PC that a controller player will never be able to do, same with console

Only thing i can think of is because pro bh started on pc before cross-play, but now it doesnt make a diffence, inputs are same, you can use a contoller on pc too as well so i agree with boomie

I play console brawlhalla and I’m happy with what I got. Console players can get the top rank in the game (Diamond) not every PC player can get Valhallan so I don’t count it. As long as I’m able to get 2200 Elo on console I’m good

it doesn’t matter your platform, if you’re good at the game you will be good. hardware doesn’t help you. brawlhalla is 90% knowledge based and not reaction based. there’s literally no situation in brawlhalla where 120+ fps will give you an advantage over 60fps.
