@@blinkzz329 Cody ain’t bad with other legends but he is not good with them either he is only good with barraza. He tried using Petra in a tourney sure he got some 3 hit combos in with gaunts but other than that he did nth and wasn’t supporting phazon. Boomie On the other hand is good with everyone. I Just feel Cody got lucky with a tourney or the other pros were playing off. My opinion 🤷🏽♂️
Cody won when barraza was broken. Boomie beat him when barazza was nerfed and gsword,hammer,gauntlets dominate the meta. Not saying either is better but jesus christ thats shallow minded as fuck.
Cody won more than one tournament and in other tournaments he reached grand finals in winner's bracket etc. Cody is hella good but boomie is indeed better

Honestly, this match feels like Cody was throwing? I mean this is the guy that goes head to head with sandstorm, watching those matches, and then watching this one i literally thought "wtf is cody doing?".
1st Match summary: Boomie goes for common Gauntlet strings for damage build up and Hammer for quick kills while spacing well. Cody plays like a tilted gold player just spamming Slight Nair Rec on axe and can’t play guns. Also Spacing and Dodges etc really off.

10:45-11:02 “Just do any move and you could interrupt him” Cody: *is always doing a wake up attack, except he dashes back one time to create space to do a wake up attack that still doesnt get priority* The lengths these announcers go to, to try and justify a weapon’s current state is annoying. Mainly these two imo. Foda and the guy that co commentated with him on the snowy/zacoi vs boomie/sandstorm match are the only two i actually like. Greatsword is broken, call it what it is. I agree itd be pretty pointless and disengaging to listen to an announcer say “greatsword is broken” and take away from the match’s authenticity, and the player’s win, but to go 100% the other way and act like it ISNT broken and that theres viable counterplay like “just interrupt it” is annoying as fuck.
It's pretty annoying that this tournament was all greatsword dominance. I'm not normally ready to get mad at a weapon or character, but this is my exception. To see players like Boomie, Phazon, and Sandstorm resorting to it it really sucks. I went from having fun watching them, to being disappointed that they won.
I think boomie knows a variety of playstyles, cody showed he is a beast with blasters in 2v2 but I think un 1v1 you can choose and apply counterplay you don't have to worry about the team and 2v2 complications Boomie really got those blasters with his gauntlets

Manuel Emilio Aquino Araujo they’re just hating on Cody because they see him as an intruder. I mean Boomie has always been an amazing player but sometime or the other he’s got to get burnt out and lose to someone else, and then they start hating the other pro.
