@@Trust1878 hes saying the words "im the original jungle dj" are unearnt, as he was not alive when it was starting out. he jumped on the train and gained fame by stealing techniques. and he is not wrong
how come every single video from Boomtown features some past its sell by date act? like they spend all the budget on the set and 50 sheets on the line up.
Well my friend, although he's in his 70s and hed not a jungle dj ,he has more than the right to play it because if it wasn't for him and other deejays playing reggae and dub in London in the 80s on sound systems with mcs there would be no jungle, the whole format is a copy of dancehall and sound systems , so the technique of pulling up the tune is from dancehall and was a part of jungle because the crowd has a voice and the deejay must respond, its not a one man show .so Rodigan is responding to the crowd ,tunes are not given time to breath anymore which is leaving out the vital element in trace music that stems 1000s of yrs is repetitiveness after the tunes been pulled up enjoy the next rave with that in mind hip hop & jungle drum n bass are branches of reggae ....peace
