Love love love Boondockerswelcome We have met the most interesting friendly people with them. Last stay on Vancouver Island was the best. They baited a crab trap and let us use their dingy

This was my first year with Boondockers welcome. I have found hosts are amazing. I wish I could have stayed at more but I also stayed at many Amusement parks (Knobels, Hershey, Dutch Wonderland) and state and national parks like Assateague Island National campground, Pocahontas in VA, and some upscale RV resorts. I bought my 2021 Rockwood 2614BS with Solar, Inverter and 12v compressor refrigerator to Boondock. So I plan on many more. Thanks for sharing

"Sues Way Acres" looks like an awesome place to stay. Thanks for sharing. We're going into the cold season now, with the RV already winterized, covered and in storage for the next 7 - 8 months. You are right this Boondockers welcome/ Harvest Host is great. Nice scenery and all the amenities. That is not bad $10.00 or so a night for hookups that’s not bad at all. Glad to see Shawna. Ya I did that with unsubscribing and redoing the subscription and it worked. That’s why I received your notification. Thank you fir me do that because it worked. Glad to see you both and the dogs. Subscribed (again) & got this notification. Nice location! Still trying to get Vinnie on board, but if not I'll be mooch docking in his driveway. Officially retired in July & always looking at inventory at Coastal RV up the street. I'm thinking Airstream Flying cloud 23 or a Class C that will pull one of his 3 bikes. Loved how they repurposed the door., too cute. Hope Rikki is feeling better~

Thank You for sharing your experience. Amazing service from the host. Motivates us to serve better in our bd host location. Question, don't you think showing the exact geo location of this private property/service to the youtube world could be uncomfortable to the hosts? I'm sure you got their permission, but if it was us, we would not authorize that, even on bw website guests never see exact location of hosts until host approves a stay... anyways everyone is different. Happy travels.

Hi there! We find that the HH and BW host locations are great when you need to fill in days between campgrounds or to help break up long travel plans. We only travel 3 hours per day, sometimes 4, so it's great to have these quick stop-overs.

Just wondering they say they don’t supply any power or facilities at a HH. Is there really none? Also how do you find out this stuff?

Hi Pam. We've been to many HH locations and have never seen any with hookups. Boondockers Welcome location generally have power connections. If you're a HH or BW welcome member you can see all the amenities offered by hosts in the listing. Hope this helps.

Hmm...very nice spot. I'm sort of considering signing up as a boondockers welcome host...but my place would be 180 degrees from this one. I've no amenities; no hookups, not a very attractive lot (weeds and bare dirt with some junky looking stuff on a trailer I'm letting a friend store here, so also not child-friendly/safe). It would be just a free place to spend a night or two on the way to somewhere else. We are, however, just about an hour from both San Francisco and Sacramento, and only about a 20 minute drive from major state highways, so easily 'on the way' to somewhere else. What do you think? Would anyone stay at such a place?

Rikki did get into some mushrooms a couple of years ago. She would sit and stare at the walls. 😲. She recovered just fine. This time it was a change in her food that caused some tummy upset. She’s back to normal now.
