It’s an easy misconception that crackheads don’t have other major health issues because the burden of constantly chasing that high consumes so much of their time and the crack damage externally overshadows all the other underlying issues, by the time they realize other things are wrong the body has long been too deteriorated to fight any other disease so quite naturally people just write it off as just another crackhead dying from drugs…I will agree with Boosie that the adrenaline rush of chasing that high seems to stretch them a few more years further than just the typical obese guy sitting on the couch every day but that’s comparing bad to terrible and the difference in longevity isn’t that much 😂

My grandpa's who's a white dude has smoked rock on & off during my life even as recent as this year. He came back from the neighbor's all spun and hyped as hell. Laughing, dancing, wouldn't shut up and telling stories. We haven't gotten along much this year but this was pretty funny. I talk to his old ironworker buddies and they tell the wildest stories of how they used to smoke crack with him all night go to work go on break smoke more then finish work. My grandma had 7 kids, my mom being #2. All her kids have died except my mom and my youngest unc/aunt... unfortunately, they were addicted to crack back in the late 80s/early 90s and still alive! My mom is still alive, IMO, because God made her sacrifice my only sibling w/o her permission AND INDIRECTLY kept her alive, even going through breast cancer, diabetes, high blood pressure, etc!
