Part 27: • Boosie on Taking His D...
--------
Vlad and Boosie discussed various topics including music, life, and interviews. When asked about Ice Cube's assertion that “No Vaseline” is a superior diss track to Tupac's “Hit 'Em Up,” Boosie admitted he did not know the song, leading Vlad to play the first verse for him. Despite this, Boosie maintained his preference for "Hit 'Em Up." They also touched on the recent documentary, "Dear Mama." Vlad praises it as “the best Tupac documentary” he’s seen, calling attention to its craft and emotional depth, as well as interesting facts like Tupac finding refuge at actress Jasmine Guy’s home during tough times in his life. However, Boosie admitted he was apprehensive to watch it due to his deep emotional connection with Tupac.

I don't think no vaseline was lyrical at all. It was just super disrespectful. Where are the multis , punches, metaphors, switch up or candence? So based on pac record being even more disrespectful also not lyrical but candence and energy it was a better record

He said in thugz mansion " So much pressure in this life of mine, I cry at times I once contemplated suicide and would of tried But when I held that 9, all I could see was my moma's eyes No one knows my struggle, they only see the trouble Not knowing it's hard to carry on when no one loves you Picture me inside the misery of poverty No man alive has ever witnessed struggles I survived" Maaan that was real to him . He managed his energies well , what he did at 25 years of age its like he lived 100 years and more because his impact is so great ...he is still relevant even to this day no artist has done what 2pac did their entire life thats why some will be hating on him but he said that before that he will be remembered as a legend ,his music will live forever and that even if he die he will still be a problem...indeed he is because people be hating on 2pac who died 27 years ago .

@@gg.tom.cruize It was a harsh diss record but I would not say it sounds weak in any era, it was a disrespectful diss track and Cube did his thing. If it was not your era though I understand liking others that came after it better because you were there at that time to hear it, that is true. Ether is one of those for me as well because I was there listening when it dropped, definitely makes a difference.

@@jalenaverylloydaveryiisson8862 It’s funny, Jalen Wilson... how on your *other* channel you’re a nice church-going kid (“Prophet Jalen Wilson” @JESUSSAVES19) *Yet you spend your time here pretending YOU’RE some real “gangster” & hating on 2pac because he wasn’t one?* How would your pastor feel about this behavior, Jalen? Would your church appreciate this is what you do in your free time on a Sunday? Maybe they’d think you’re faking there in the church, but we don’t. *We think you’re faking here. We think you really are just a good ol’ innocent young Christian man.* What we would like to know is: *what are you compensating for?* Maybe it was that you never knew your father. Maybe it’s that he was a murderer who ruined his chances at a great legit career because he wanted to play gangsta like Pac? Maybe it was that he was murdered by a chunky white dude in prison, before you even knew he existed. We really do feel bad for you. We hope you can get the help you need Jalen to stop having so much hate in your heart. ✌️

After losing Malcolm X & Martin Luther King he was our only next hope who also got taken away from us prematurely.
