I installed the Ibexx clutch kit into my 2023 Boost over the summer (165 Pro). Rode it for the first time yesterday in Silent pass. All I can say is WOW! Absolutely completely different sled. All I could think on my way up the trail was “what have I done?” lol. Up top, when it’s making lots of Boost, it basically feels like the same machine. However, the low to mid response is absolute night and day over stock. The backshift is pretty fast too. Way better in the trees compared to stock….rpm’s are there when you need them. Having all that extra rpm at engagement takes a little getting used to as well. First couple times loading up on my sled deck was a touch unnerving lol. I don’t have the needle bearing behind the spring cup, but I am considering installing it.
Such a rad build that keeps getting better and better. Love the guys @ Ibexx - they're doing some REALLY cool shit. And I can't stop staring at that Ohlins suspension....DAMN I WANT!!!
At least you have snow there. It's January and there still is no rideable snow around Tahoe. The forecast, which has been wrong EVERY time, seems to think it's coming in the next 7-10 days, but I don't believe it. Been lied to too many times.
Can’t wait to hear how the Ibex clutch kit works for you. I have been on the fence buying it for my 24 Boost. They are spendy, so want good bang for the buck. Just need some snow in Oregon!!
I hear the stock 24 Boost is pretty good, but my 23 is a completely different sled with the Ibexx kit. Total beast off the bottom, whereas the stock Boost was a turd in that department. The difference is not even in the same ballpark.
@@turcotte16 Great, thanks 👍 I may go RPM Titanium Chambered. I haven’t heard either in person so it’s a bit of a gamble. My can is too loud but sounds awesome
