Hey Jake how do you fix pacing in a screenplay? Thank you for this to I do all this in every place in life.

I’m not Jake but I can tell you what I do that seems to work. When I’m doing my outline, I color code action scenes, “campfire” scenes, scenes where clues are revealed, etc in different colors. You can do this in a spreadsheet, index cards, or however you normally outline. The scenes that enforce your genre (action, comedy, romance, etc) should be frequent and all colors should be spaced out fairly evenly. Towards the end, you should have more action scenes generally as almost all movies turn into thrillers in act 3. Experiment with this and see what works for you and your story.
