hammed kolawole you could include some of the exercises in your Comp warm-up, such as speed bounds and a couple of in place jumps to fire you up neurally and have a potentiating effect. However, doing too much would be counter productive. Hope this helps and stay safe.
It could be coming from your hip ... you could be twisting/being more out of alignment and this reflects in the foot placement. If you look at some sprinters they do twist through the drive phase through the foot and there's much debate, with some saying this is fine and actually adds to the potential for drive.. Perhaps try some foot-strike drills where you focus on pulling the foot back heel first to strike the track more or less flat and in a straight line, then transfer this to leg cycling drills. You can do this as a skip on one side of the body and then repeat on the other. You can also do alternate versions. This may help to 'educate" your foot so that it moves in more of a straighter plane. It will also help strengthen the foot too (and hip and knee). All this may help with alignment. Hope this makes sense and thanks for the comment.
