The landscaping of adding the posts and hanging baskets to the sides of the driveway entrance was unique also the creation of the "rock" to dress up and cover-up the eyesore spot.and the cobblestone walk way. I also liked the mailbox cover-up and the awning you created with hanging baskets. But the plates not so much

I'm surprised someone hasn't stold your hanging basket of flowers off of the post. That would be a hassel to go out to the end of the driveway to water it all the time for me.

@@DynamicBaileyBe Careful! I commented on a craft video that a plastic bag was "translucent" not "transparent" A Year Ago, and I Still am getting responses from people telling me that I was rude, mean, made the poster feel bad and on and on. I couldn't believe how aggressive some of them were!

Decor being stolen is always a problem and other than permanently securing the pot in place, there is not much else to do. As for watering the plants, in my very hot summer part of the world, I would use cheap plastic flowers. They look presentable from a distance, or at a fast glance, and are weather-proof, as well as cheap enough that if stolen, it won't break the budget to replace.

This was an entire video of what not to do to your home. Never backfill a wood post with first then concrete, it's a stone base then concrete for water drainage, the rest was stuff that will barely last a summer if you're lucky. It's your home, it's a big investment you shouldn't be afraid to invest in it.
