Found this video when I was sad because my model (hp slim desktop s01-pf1xxx memory) came with only 4GB RAM and was running SLOWLYYYY! I know NOTHING about computers, and this time last year, couldnt even tell you what "a RAM" WAS!! So I was scared to install it myself. I've never done this in my life, and did it right along with you in the video. IT WORKED! And it was so easy! THANKS SO MUCH! ❤❤❤

Good job on your presentation. I upgraded my HP Slim through the link you provided and the performance improvement is noticeable. It's like a new machine! I only had 4 GB to start with (which is not enough) now 32 GB of RAM. Thank you!

Man I thought it was no hope for my wife's slow Hp slim 260-a011 with 4 GB of RAM. But after seeing this I'm doing an immediate upgrade. Will the same ram cards work for my PC?

I suggest going to HP’s support page and scrolling down towards the bottom and enter in the serial number for your particular computer. It will then provide you with the technical specifications of your computer, to include the type of RAM it has installed. Here’s a link to the site: support.hp.com/us-en I’ve definitely seen a significance performance increase in my computer since the RAM upgrade. The 4GB the computer comes with just isn’t enough to unlock the true performance of this computer. Hope this helps, and thanks for stopping by the channel!

question for you. I'm not a tech guy, so opening up these things are 'horror' for me. I recently bought a HP Slim S01-aF2006na Desktop PC - Intel® Pentium® Silver, 256 GB SSD, Black - to replace my old acer lap top. I've been hearing that these can be upgraded with a graphics card to turn into a basic game rig if you choose to game on it. What graphics card could you recommend and if you have any videos of it to show how to open, fix etc i don't plan to game on it as I am using it for basic needs of streaming, music and drawing. But the option to game is very appealing and interesting. any info and video guides are appreciated. thanks

Do you think the Asrock LP a380 gpu would fit?

Although it's a low profile, you need to look up the dimensions of that particular GPU and the available space inside the HP Slim Desktop. Also, you've got to ensure the power supply unit of the HP Slim can power the Asrock LP a380. Hope this helps. Thanks for question and for commenting!
