In this video, we will be installing and testing the Waveform MIMI Quad 4 antenna that should boost our T-Mobile home internet signal from the cell towers near us.
This is not a "how to..." video but a "how we did it video" Please be safe if you on are the roof and please follow common sense practices to avoid getting injured...
For years we have been held hostage and charged crazy high prices for our local Internet, we have the cable and there are no other options on our country road. We'd complain about the high cost to the cable provider and get 10 big bucks off...
Se we contacted T-Mobile , and so far it has been great for $50/month with no contract or hidden fees, but the signal was inconsistent. Enter, Waveform. What a game changer this is going to be!
Before you install, please read the manual, check out the videos on the Nater Tater RU-vid channel... @NaterTater he is the man when it comes to this topic ! This took me a total of 3 hours.
This antenna was provided by Waveform as well as tech guidance so we could get started properly. If you get stuck, please reach out to their tech support, they are first class!
When installing, be patient and take your time. Your results depend on how well the install, setup and tuning are, details matter.
If cell towers are not at a reasonable distance to you, well cellular internet may not be your solution, but for us, it makes sense! Please let me know if you use this and drop it in the comments, these video are meant to help each other.
Thanks for watching and please hit that like and subscribe for updates on this video and for future videos coming out..
Thanks

Good morning... I'm confused...if I have a D-Link Router...one antenna to get Internet from my provider...how I'm going to connect this quad unit which has 4 cables....??? Thanks

@@tonypower5625 i'm not positive, but I believe in that situation you have you would use the omnidirectional antenna which has a single lead. This particular one was designed for "cellular type"of routers on the 4G/5G bandwidths. Supply The D-Link Router model to the Waveform website, I think the unit you need is the other offering. This particular one is not omnidirectional at all, so you have to be fairly precise with aiming, but you will have incredible signal gain once you are locked onto that tower. Let me know if you have trouble. I'll get you the email to the Tech Support? people so that you get the proper antenna for your router and not waste time and money.. Let me know, thanks- Keith

Hi Jim, nope, 100% cellular signal. I was skeptical at first but T-mobile and Waveform are good together.

I got the winter 2022 special for $25/month with 250/15. If starlink mini can beat that, I will swap, but I heard they have a limit cap and de-prioritized. I'm thinking about getting this antenna too but my gateway needs to be opened which I'm not sure I can do it without breaking it.

@@Franklinsoneme too! We're paying a flat $50, it's fast, no equipment to buy , we're good over here. And 460 down 85 up this morning. I'm good!
