Boosted Rev Electric Scooter Not Charging My boosted rev was charging for 4 hours but was still on two bars What I wish I had know before getting a Boosted Rev Electric Scooter
There are 2 possibilities. One open up the Battery compartment. Then look for a silver box. You will see one plug in That is yellow and one that is red. Along with some other ones. Unplug the yellow one and unplug the red one. Wait 1 minute and then plug them back in. The other one Is would have a faulty battery. The charger should be green when not plugged in to the scooter and red when charging the scooter. When it's finished charging it will turn back to green. I hope this helps.

Anyone who comes across this video. Same thing happened to me with mine. I ended up fixing the problem by removing some Philip screws off the battery and looking at the Fuses I noticed one of the fuses that was a 5 A was shot and I replaced it and put everything back together and after that it charged fine. This happened to me. I had to ship it back to California when boosted was still in business and it ended up being a software update. Total process from start to finish was about a month and a half
i had the same problem my charger was not loading my battery it always got stuck on 35.9 % till i saw 2 problems 1 the 5 mm charging port head the inner pin witch is the positive or red is thin and small and makes no connection with the scooters receiving port basically to small for the port so i had to cut it of order a new port to the right size fitting solder in for it to work. now it looks like it's charging because the color goes from green to red BUT Still stuck in 35.9 % according to my screen reader battery lol Back to square 1
If you pluged the charger into the scooter first and then pluged in the wall you messed up your supposed to put it on the wall first so i think your charger is broken because the scooter sparked it and broke so all u need to do is buy a new charger Your welcome for the help
When you charge the e scooter the charger light will change to red but if you change the e scooter the changer is still on green light is mean the battery is spoil
1) I’d check for open Fuse inline closer to or at batt. 2) Try with scooter power off. Or 3) charger won’t recognize batt because batt drained lower than 2 volts. Look up how to fix a drill battery that won’t charge on YT. Consists of series of short zaps w double the voltage till reached 2.0 volts then plug charger. 🤷🏻♂️ But if u have lith ion batt then I’m not sure if diff
I have a razor e prime electric scooter when i plug the charger in it , it shows it’s charging but it’s not charging left it for 8 hours still same issue ? What should i do ?
Bad charger same happened to me with Varla eagle one rebranded zero 10x I just bought a new battery and it still happens. This would be my 4th charger in 2 years and my 2nd battery
Ya gotta press the button and turn on the scooter to see it charging. Even though the green light is on the charger block doesn’t mean it’s fully charged. Wait till you see 5 green bars on the scooter.
Loll you lucky it just doesn't want to charge mind already broken on me! The back wheels from my scooter stopped spinning i already asking for a return labels the frame to my scooter also broken too maybe we got the defective ones from the manufacture or maybe your cable of you scooter charger maybe cut too you never know
Wow. That's crazy and their customer support people keep telling me a supervisor would reach out but never heard from their supervisors. Customer service is not satisfying at all, which sucks because their products aren't cheap.
@@NoTechGuy yes they did the same things to me too! My scooter the back wheels stopped spinning the frame completely damage to my scooter sometimes it even go backwards i requested for a return labels they already send it to me tomorrow i will send the scooter back te get a full refund the scooter don't even have a good range. I don't know you will decide to keep yours
@@raphaelnau72 No i do not have any intentions of keeping the scooter. I bought the XIAOMI 365 pro, which has been running perfectly and it is half the price of the boosted Rev. I'm also looking into getting the Zero 10x
@@NoTechGuy ok i just dropped my scooter to FedEx these morning for a return! I would like to have a zero10x too. But the pwoblem is everywhere I'm looking for one they said it will be shippe from China i don't want a scooter going to ship from china and it's look like you have to preorder the zero10x too, let me know, if you know a good website that gonna ships it from USA to purchase it.
There a video for that on RU-vid I made my own at home type that in the guy connecting the wires to his kid scooter it's called home made charger at home he plays music while he works simple I fix mine
I know what the problem is, i fixed my scooter temporarily by opening the bottom of the scooter, and press on the battery in different points until the charger goes red, then put things ontop of the battery to put some pressure on it. The probelm is with the battery, since the scooter rattles while riding it, the battery pack can crack or disconnect one of the batteries. Hope this helps

Sorry to hear that.,I'm still waiting for a response to return the scooter and get my money back. But boosted customer service are giving me the run around.
