BoostedBoiz are known for their crazy/fast/unique builds that they document and publish on RU-vid - which is EXACTLY why we love running into them at the drag strip. This time around, we were finally able to see the twin turbo K24 Mr2 show off it's boosted glory! We didn't get 12 o'clock wheelies.. but we definitely got a taste for the potential this lil' Toyota holds. Currently sitting at #5, it won't be long until we see Kyle at the top of that "Fastest Mr2 in the world" list!

just need to get start right and then shift to last gear earlier.. kyles tunes got torgue like a space shuttle.. almost every time he short shift in high end he get highest speed. also on the hatch. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mA-vf4lpn_A.html and this is even a 1-2-5 shift and he keeps riding it out

@@johnathonlolley9158 well watch the 1-2 the car just lays over he might have to get his hand off the shifter (I.E spark cut ) or spark cut time is set for too long I do know what a dog box sequentially shifted gear box is just short gears still make hard maybe a slipper is in order for this car no more wheel stands

@@budgetoutlaws9978 The strain gaige cuts ignition when it senses that youre putting force on it. His hand may be smacking it while he's accelerating, he may not notice it. It could be a wierd fueling issue, but it really seems to me like ignition cut.

@@_Professor_Oak the rpm thing isn't actually the rpm lmao, it was just a little after effect to point out his short shifts... Kyle was probably shifting at like 7500 ish, the car makes peak power at around 9000 and fuel cut is just below 10000, so he really needs to wind it out in every gear otherwise it'll fall out of power... Once he does that, that shit is in the deep 8s

He's fairly inexperienced at racing still as well I think. That 160+ trap was the fastest he's ever driven. Seat time is what he needs the most in the MR2. It's a hell of a car for sure.

3S-GTE’s run these times with a single turbo and a lower max HP. Getting off the line isn’t an issue any MR2T I’ve ever owned has had.

I know this is a year old, but I'm with ya. Jayden said it's the chassis time to race, but how is the chassis powering the car, lol. This is cool and it's fast and all, IMO and it's what disappoints me is that the engine is not Toyota. I get excited to see and hear about the fastest MR2 as the MR2 is my favorite Toyota aside from the Supra and it's not powered by the actual Toyota engine. It should be something like fastest K24 in a MR2 chassis.
