Loved the "💖 Stack Me" sign (059) on the Module. Those SpaceX workers have a sense of enjoyment in their job. And was the Green Light on Module 2 reminded me of Thunderbird 2. THis Starship System is certainly a bit like that at times. Cheers to the second Tower.

Really, they waited till they cpuld perfectly and confidently allign that first section to the mount. And now there are stacking it so fast like lego bricks. Can't to wait to see it complete. Thanks NSF❤

Can say was expecting a SF not a SP BUT any testing is an enjoyful thing to watch. They have their reasons for testing. And BIG thanks to NSF for being there to catch all the chnages going on.

The SP could be the result of losing an engine on B11

They need to do a cut with Thunderbirds music.... sprang to mind as Module 2 rolled along the road on the multiwheeled thing..which was very Thunderbirds

I wonder if it’s going to be a routine thing to skip a couple ships and do the same tests again spin prime igniter test cause it’s been a couple ships since there last test, it would be cool to see a heat shield test no? It’s a form of qualifying everything new with the hard wear is working together good. And I think this next flight will be perfect.

Well thats wierd.but may be the result of losing an engine on B11

Yeah they probably trying to make sure the booster is in has good condition has possible for the catch attempt.

I would like to see an ignition of another spin prime to see if the DPS works as intended.

4:38 I still think that trying to catch this huge thing by these two ridiculous bits of metal is completely and totally insane....
@Vatsyayana87
@Vatsyayana87 Месяц назад
Its pretty wild. But its perfectly feasible so i wouldnt call it insane. And ridiculous bits of metal is just talking smack with out any depth. The new shorter version will be a better setup but i think these will do the job.

How much windspeed will be to much for a landing?
@Vatsyayana87
@Vatsyayana87 Месяц назад
Depends a lot on the winds direction, but its a good question that nobody has an answer to as far as i know.

Are these ship QD tests showing improved speed? It does seem like it needs to move quicker to get out of the way as Starship shoots off the pad.
@iamaduckquack

Not sure about the current arm but I like to think it'll be made faster on the new and improved tower.

@@ReinReads At a testing site? Its not just another ship that can be ignored without causing problems for the entire process. They absolutely must keep changing things on this tower in order to learn what will work better on future designs.

What is spin prime test and it's importance
@Vatsyayana87
@Vatsyayana87 Месяц назад
They spin up the engines and let fuel flow through them without igniting it. Its simply to make sure the ground support and the vehicle are working properly and can bring the engines up to that point exactly how they want. Its a very delicate dance with a very tight coordination of things that have to happen within fractions of a second of each other in the correct order for it to ready to ignite without causing damage.
@cristianconrads9109
@cristianconrads9109 Месяц назад
Doesn't look like the QD is Q enough.
@MilBard
@MilBard Месяц назад
!Question for NSF - Was that was the longest and biggest spin prime SpaceX has done?
@Vatsyayana87
@Vatsyayana87 Месяц назад
This was basically it. Its only the process of starting the engines without igniting them, you dont do it any longer then it takes to fire engines normally.
@dannyarcher6370

What is being spun in a spin prime test?
@drtracernum20
@drtracernum20 Месяц назад
i would think its the turbopumps for the fuel and lox
@Vatsyayana87
@Vatsyayana87 Месяц назад
@@drtracernum20 Exactly, its the same process of starting the engines, they just dont ignite them.
@drtracernum20
@drtracernum20 Месяц назад
@Vatsyayana87 yeah, I remember they used the launch base to start the engines initially, then compressed gas is used in flight to restart the engines for boost back and landing
