The Galahad boss fight is another "unwinnable" boss fight that that you can win anyway. You just need to take him down before the hidden timer automatically ends the fight. Not that beating him nets you much aside from farming Giant's Shields and watching the Chapter Boss rewind time. On the plus side, since it isn't an "ending", you don't need to save and reload every time like with the Adam fight.
Do you have a discord I have photos I can share for ifinite card point farming so people only need to beat the harder card fights once to steal all the good cards. There’s an A rank fight you can lock out of playing that gives you 50ish points a fight to save up that’s pretty hard to mess up

@@vannoah Wait... "Mug" stacks, too? Yeesh, as if Givampalui wasn't broken AF already. It does explain why folks were seeing more Steal attempts than there were enemies on screen, though.
@@Starcat5 yes so you can steal 3 sets of 4 items from 1 enemy. The 6 stack of shadow horses can give you 72 buns and to get 99 buns you need to kill 9 enemies which is easily doable in a chain

I am happy you found the video helpful! I list off monsters and locations in this bun farming video. I don't have every monster with every bun, but I go over some of the most efficient mobs to target with ability associated with the hunt. When it comes to MP management with Phantom, I personally use Tents and Ethers. It's the best method I know about. How are you enjoying BD2 so far?

@@PoogieBoogie I've played bravely default and bravely second so I have the experience. Just used too planning out my attacks and not going one at a time. Wish they stick too one mechanism but the combat is alright.
@@PoogieBoogie yeah I fell in love with it.. I waited years for this game still kinda bummed they scrapped the story but this new cast of characters are charming in their own way too. As well as the story so far. It seems the crystals are mere objects now instead of huge crystals.
@@SFG92K well if a crystal is destroyed they regrow from a small crystal so it is possible this is somehow related to the false ending in the first game. (I can’t remember if any crystals break in second)
Do you know how to get it to work? I have the correct jobs equipped and when I attack it tells me I could not steel anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
@@TheDankert do you have the abilities equipped as well? I also have had that happen but for me it's seems to be by chance if you steal an item or not.. if there is any more info you have about your setup let me know, if I can't help, I'm sure someone can.

@@TheDankert I'm sorry that I'm not any more help, I'll have to test a few things out myself and see if I can come up with something and see if I can help you out, I don't have the phantom class yet like the guy in the video, so I use the another setup with abilities from other classes, I based it off one of the other videos this guy does, its about rare weapons from overworld rare monsters fights check that video out and see if using some stuff from that video may help
be careful breaking NG+!!!! i spent an hour on a certain boss fight that you are supposed to loose, not hitting him, but only attacking myself, because he couldnt hit through my evasion, and i counter attacked everything. it was the worst ticking clock battle ever.
I feel that farming Speed Buns and using them for the first play through is easy to do. It will allow players to wreck the game. Saving as many buns as you can for NG+ is probably the best strategy :)
You can only bring 99 of each bun into ng+ which is nowhere near the amount needed to max the stat even from lv99. So I would t stress to much just bring over the items needed and start stealing.
In the Holograd castle, Orc Lords have Critical Chance buns, and those floating armors have Aim Buns. Even better, they both have a chance of spawning in each other's party, which really helps out with chained battle farming!
@@PoogieBoogie I just started New Game Plus not too long ago. Was trying to farm the class weapons. Didn't know until afterward that they are considered common drops. So having 4 stacks of Rare Talent was screwing me over, and giving me nothing but Giant JP Orbs.
@@Nyrufa That's Awesome! I love New Game + in games, especially when they offer an alternate ending for beating an unbeatable boss early. I still have to beat Adam at some point lol But, yeah, it's counter-intuitive, it feels like the weapons/shields would have been the more rare items. I was running into that problem too :( Any other RPGs that's you're looking forward to in the future?
@@PoogieBoogie I didn't know that beating the 'impossible' scenes was actually a thing you can do, until revisiting them in New Game +. Yes, you can defeat Adam before he kills Sloan. You can also defeat Galahad the first time he freaks out in front of the tower. Sadly, the game just ends right there on both counts and forces you to go back to your last save. There's no alternate story path for beating these bosses ahead of schedule. :(
I think the Beastmaster is TOO broken of a class. It makes the game pretty easy, even on Hard mode (which is what i beat the game on). I beat the Final Boss with a Freelancer/Theif Main, SpiritMaster/White Mage Gloria, PictoMancer/RM Elvis, and a Swordmaster/BeastMaster Adelle. Currently doing the post game content so i can get that True Ending
Interesting. I tried this before I reached chapter 6, it seems like it doesn't make steal a 100% chance thing, But looking at this it looks like it makes mug 100% chance? That's really interesting.
Good Question! Epic Group Cast says "Targeting all enemies with spells or abilities will not reduce their damage or effects." This tells me that abilities being used - steal/mug/defeat enemies - will be greatly implemented to it's fullest extent with Epic Group Cast. Like if it's used - players will get way more Buns/Items. If it isn't, players will have to farm more to get the same amount of loot - let me know if this helps.
@@PoogieBoogie thanks Poogie! I used the exact same strategy without Epic Group Cast but most of the steals had nothing in them. If they did, it was only 2 buns only. Does your strategy only work after clearing the game once? Does difficulty choice affects it? I’m still at Chapter 5 right now.

@@PoogieBoogie i wear 2 daggers on 2 muggers. i only mug with these 2 char and i overweight other 2 characters so they will never get turn for action. and the 2 muggers steal thrice.
I've got Aspir Attack equipped but it doesn't seem to be restoring any MP. So, I'm drained of mana after every battle. Any other good ways to reduce having to use Ethers/Tents, etc.?
Using the Phantom ability is a Huge MP drain. The best way to counter act it that I know is to use Tents/Ethers. That's unfortunately one of the downsides of this method, but it is very effective :) I suppose one could use MP Regean from Arcanist and Brave through a battle or two to regain MP. What are you farming at the moment?
I am asking here because I cant find anything in the Internet: Can you just boost your stats until they are max...even on lower levels...or is there a fix amount of buns you can consume for each Charakter and stat?

I will experiement the heck out of this game because the battle system is just to much fun to play around with.
The game is really fun! I love the customizable battle mechanics which allows players to freely explore the games’ possibilities. Octo felt great and had a great aesthetic. I hope they continue making Bravely Defaults :)

@@TheDankert So far that looks great. mug is going to be needed if you are going to attack to steal. If you are going to use the steal move in the Thievery move set, then you don't need mug. Also - if you purchase 2 Thief Gloves from Wiswald, it may also help with the stealing/mug ability. Let me know how it goes :)
Use mug, magpie rob blind, indiscriminate rage and luck increasing gambler skill 2 givampui The knife will stack with rob blind making it so that each knife increases the number of drops by 1 and the equiped skill. This gives 4 drops then the 3 stacks of mug lets you steal 3 sets of 4 from each enemy earning 12 buns per kill
That's a good question! It definitely depends on what level and class your character are, but from what I have noticed is that I have received 2-3 stats per bun. I hope that helps :)
Hey! Thanks for commenting :) I am not sure I understand your question. But, I think you're referring to the Luck Up abilities. You may not need these abilities I just like using them and they work for me. :)
You can do Phantom / Freelancer, since Mug is a passive ability you don't need Thief as a sub job. This will let you use the luck boosting move then attack all mug, which will trigger every time because you're a Phantom.
Thanks for the tips but Fantom 100%+magpie assures you gonna get rare item but does not increase the rob probability. Even with 2 thief gloves i do not always get the buns so there is definitely something more in your setup, maybe your actual stats already increased or your gear. The abilities are definitely not the only parameter in your success
@@Alonso_Cid its pretty simple really, use gambler as main, abilities equipped : mug, magpie, rob blind, night shift, indiscriminate rage. Weapons : 2 givampalui. Wait till night and profit. Extra tip : go farm buns in dungeons are miles easier and faster than in world map because if ur world map is night time and u enter dungeon it will always stays night doesnt matter how long ure inside the dungeon. Just dont grind buns in world map, waiting for night everytime is a pain in the arse.
I literally tried almost this exact setup and my characters would spend the 40 MP and proceed to not steal anything half the time, and the other half of the time they would spend 80 or even 120 MP AND STILL NOT STEAL THE BOOSTER BUNS WHAT IN THE FUCK IS HAPPENING WHAT ARE YOU GUARANTEEING
