Hi Andrew, I think the obvious difference is that we (SKAARHOJ) are selling you a hardware panel which gives you physical buttons to press and displays for the thumbnails. This may or may not matter to you. The function is the same: The preset hans a thumbnail which guides your choice of preset. Hope you like it ;-)
Hi Zack, to be honest we have not had access to an IP500 controller and therefore the answer is "no" at first glance. However, many PTZ controllers have GPIO outputs that could be wired into a ETH-GPI Link box from us which along with the Frame Shot Pro can be used to detect the selected camera and in this way the same can be achieved. The Operational instructions for IP-500, page 10 says "GPI I/O connector: Used as a tally input from an external device or as a contact output connector of the selected camera number." That sounds very promising indeed.
