So I have a bit of a wider foot and I am having a hard time finding a Women's boot that is wide. I want to buy the Corral Women's Metallic Glitter Inlay & Crystal boots from my wedding and I was wondering if its possible to use the same method on a boot with embellishments.
I'm wondering the same thing! I've been looking and I think I'm a D or C width. I can't believe how narrow normal B width womens boots are. I know the exact boot you're looking for too. Did you ever find a solution? Also congrats!
Hello. Nice video! I have a question.. which is actually the opposite of this. My boots are too wide for me in the calf area. Are boot places able to do some kind of alteration/ or is there maybe at home trick.? I Can’t ever wear my boots because it looks so bad under my jeans or my leg looks so skinny if I wear shorts, etc. Thank you! -Scarlett
Thank you for reaching out and your question. I think a boot repair shop might be able to help out. Not sure if you are local - but if you are in our area, Soles and Heels in Brandon is a great option. If the problem persist, I am afraid the best option would be to look into a new pair of boots. Have a great day!
Hey just got a new pair of call plain Jane junk gypsy by Lane, All leather. I have very high arches & High instep, the look like ballet feet. Having trouble always getting my foot passed the top side of the arch/heel area. Gonna try this tonight. Say a prayer cause I love these new boots 👢
You ever find a solution? I've got the same issue on one foot just a touch too snug. I'm thinking we can use steam from a kettle like he did, then wear a thick pair of socks and do it that way
are u wearing traditional style? IE, pointed toes? cus if u are, than not really as far as i know... they're meant to be able to get into the stir-ups easier, i personally have a pair of snip toes, basically traditional with the rounded tip cut off into a square. think more dancing boot. not my favorite, but seeing's i wear a size 14, but have a narrow foot, it's hard to get any that fit right. even these ariats i'm talking about aren't as good as i'd like, but they work when i wanna get dressed up lol, which, imho, is what snip toes are good for. if i could find a pair in my size, i'd ideally love a pair of old school square toes, and a pair of ropers (rounded work boot toe). but like i said, it's hard to get shoes in my size. especially seeing's each brand runs different. i got my old roomates to get me a pair of dingoes in my size, and when i got them, they were WAYYYYYYY too big, no matter how much i stuffed them... it sucked too cus i really liked them.. but yah. sorry for the long post, but ur question was kinda vague. it depends on what kind of toe u have.. there's lol (obviously) alot of varieties and it actually really makes a difference in cowboy boots.
I used my wife's tea kettle. I steamed each boot twice and used my first to stretch the instep. Then I steamed them one more time and put them on. Pre-steam stretching, I'd take the boot off and my socks came off too. After I did this treatment, my socks stayed on. In fact, they never moved. I may do this again with new thicker socks on, just to be sure
