I appreciate your attitude about reselling shoes from the thrift store. Too many eBay types out there that have ruined thrifting. I don’t even bother since my sizes are popular and the aggressive resellers are in those stores or they have inside connections. One area of thrifting that hasn’t been ruined is books. I’ve found some nice books for $2. Found the hardback of John Adams recently. And a signed copy of one of Bill O’Reilly’s books that made a great gift for a friend who likes him.

i like to do the Thrift Store. Out here in Colorado Springs I go to Goodwill or ARC. I like to mix a little old and new in my wardrobe. These places are so much fun to just find something even an ornament or small Art work. Often wonder what the story was of the person or persons who's life it touched. I'll look at the shoe and boot sections once in a while. Truth be told I've not walked out with a pair of shoes or boots yet. Not surprised there are some items that definitely deserve another life. Oh yes when I go looking for a boot and see one I like I almost fall off my chair when its like $400. Imagine finding one full of dust on a Thrift Store shelf.

Those boots in first store were shell cordovan? Can't be?! If they were they'd be worth like 1000. If they were real I hope you bought em.
